The voice acting in these movies straight up sounds like kids being held captive, forced to play with toys that they hate, and forced into coming up with stories for those toys.

The voice acting is not even like they are "just reading the script" it's like they are doing that, but can't even read

I am German and I watched those films as a kid. But not at home or in some other reasonable place. No it was in the shopping mall at the middle class fashion store, which had a kids area. They had all of these films.. Don't know why.

Some joke that they literally got Bangladeshi and Ghanese immigrants that didn't know the language and forced them to dub the movies, the accents and stutters are really heavy!

Yeah I remember when for some reason (idk why) I watched these random kids dub over a part of that episode of Spongebob where they turn invisible. The dubbing was so similar sounding. The phrase "Oh god, my wife's gonna know about this!" Has been stuck in my head for years.

So I think I remember seeing those "movies" when I was young. They were on the televisions in the "kid entertainment section" (the place where your mum drops you off when she wants to go shopping) in the local H&M store (a big fashion chain in Germany). For that reason I have a weird Nostalgia for those things.

I think the “voice actors” didn’t even know they where being recorded and just read a really really really really really really really bad script and whew paid afterward with alcohol

Even to today standards, GoAnimate and Vyond had Text-To-Speech voices than real voices including others from different sources like VoiceForge where it was discontinued about two years ago, and Acapela Group which isn’t available in the new Vyond Studio as well as the Legacy Video Maker which is going to retire later this month.

My brother’s girlfriend legit had a copy of Animal Soccer World she played as a child she thought it was just a fake memory she had Now seeing those catalog I can completely understand why anyone would deny their films as real films

Most of these films, even in the original dub, were in fact voiced by only one adult man and a young boy. Probably Ludwig Ickert and his son.

In the movie's defence, in the original language its actually so bad it's funny. Especially adding up with bad rhimes plus a voice actor that sounds like herbert the pervert in german. My favorite plothole is some random grandma birds in the lion king clone who bribe vultures with computers out of nowhere.

I remember seeing these movies as a kid in the H&M or C&A (I don't remember which one, these are both big clothing stores in Germany) on a small tube TV weirdly hidden in a corner that was there to entertain Children while their parents were Shopping. I vaguely remember seeing the Lion King like one, the dinosaur thing, the dogs one, and the one with the crow or Black bird thing. I do not remember what they were about or even what language they were in (probably german tho). Tldr: I remember unvalunteerly watching these movies as a child and I just got reminded my childhood was even more obscure than it already was.

Correction: Ludwig Ickert passed away on November 14th, 2019 (the day before this video was uploaded!).

This is kinda creepy just because of the lack of information

I discovered this studio through a Spanish youtuber named Loulogio, now when he reviewed these movies he would put clips with the Spanish dub and you have no idea how different the quality is, sure it's still bad voice acting, but it actually sounds more competent and has better audio quality, I think even some important Spanish VAs have been on these movies, like I remember hearing the Spanish voice actor for Usopp from One Piece in one of these movies

This German clothing store I used to go to as a child had this TV in the kids section and they were always playing films by this studio! I specifically remember some sort of Lion King rip off, something with dogs in a forest, and, what made me recognise this, the way their head bobs when they laugh....

When I hear of bad movies here from Germany it is often connected to fraud. Germany wanted to establish and develop their film industry by spending a fixed amount of money for every movie produced no matter how good it was. That resulted in some terrible mass production of horrible movies. Eventually this came together with that case...

I'm impressed someone ripped off just the animated chunk of Bedknobs and Broomsticks.

You know what is really bad about this? Roswitha Haas actually worked on GOOD products, like localizint Disney picture books. And the US Dub is in some cases better (or at least funnier) than the original German one.

The voice acting sounds like me when I used to play with my animal figures when i was little,

groudon gamer yeah, childhood was pretty fun. Me and my brother loved mixing universes and having some fun stories. Like, we even made our own series of OCs with clay, legos and magnets, which most looked awful but one of these creations had more character than all these rip off movies.
