Oh yeah. Songs and Thongs first reaction to them was one of the best IMO. Gitana Adelle's reaction to Enter Sandman was flat hillarious, and Highly combustable on the same song.. the look on his face when he first hear's.. magic. lol. Metal Mafia was also great. I watched so many reactors after hearing Crazy Train by them for the first time just trying to get my head around what I was hearing and gage whether others were getting the same reaction.. boy howdy!

Great Reaction with your knowledge of music and yes you finally got the Randy Rhoads right. ha I kept yelling it out to ya and I guess you finally heard me. ha j/k Anyway, speaking of Zakk Wylde though, he was at the TOOL concert that had Liliac open and he went backstage to meet them and he talked specially with Sam. It's funny that you discovered Liliac with their LATEST OMV so I don't know if that will ruin your Liliac journey or not since they started out as kids as The Cristeas, then as they got older, changed the name to Liliac. Anyway, diving into their catalog will do you so much justice not to mention, it will be a whole lotta fun. They have been "adopted" by Wendy Dio and Vinny Appice and have made some fans out of some of the best rockers such as Lzzy Hale. Sadly they are having a bit of a hard time really making it into the center of the rock world, like The Warning for instance, since they are Indies and it's just their Mom and Dad who are doing the job of a record org. But these kids are amazing humans, loving God and talented beyond belief. Seeing them LIVE is an experience that even this old rocker found to be shockingly crazy and I can't wait til they come back to my neck of the woods. BTW, I found your Reaction on the Liliac channel. Hint: They love Reactors. Keep peeling the layers back and as Liliac says, *ROCK ON AND ROCK HARD*

Liliac are incredible. Especially, Melody Cristea (Vocalist) and Sam Cristea (Lead guitar/Rhythm guitar) Young as well but experienced for their age (currently 15-23) after busking on the Santa Monica Pier and then completing 3 USA Tours. They have many Originals and Covers. They are 100% Independent.

I had no idea they were new to you! Liliac are the reason I discovered Band-Maid (via the Songs and Thongs reaction channel) and therefore your channel. They are best known for Melody's voice and for the excellent covers of artists such as Dio, Janis Joplin and Iron Maiden, but they do have some very good original songs. My favourite is their live video of Mars, which starts with a solo by Sam which has a Paul Gilbert vibe. The song itself has a lovely atmospheric part which gives me goosebumps like Rainbow's famous live in Germany '76 album. EDIT: They might be sending a few new subscribers your way. They've just mentioned you on their channel!

Liliac is always very entertaining! Liliac is part of what I like to call the NAFTA of family bands, consisting of The Warning (Monterrey, Mexico), Motion Device/Quarter After Three (Toronto, Canada) and Liliac (US/Georgia), all great and all with different strengths. The word "liliac" means "bat" in Romanian, which is where their parents are from. Randy Rhodes played on Crazy Train for Ozzy Osbourne.

The only thing that is bothering me about Liliac is I like a song. I want to hear it that way live. Not a lot of free styling. Melody has a hell of a voice, but I've seen video of concerts where she is changing the stylisation Of there older songs. The Warning is great about doing live like the original pluss adding the live energy. Got to see them live in Richmond, VA. the night after the opened for Halestorm. And the Pretty Reckless. Great artists and very personable. Like I hear about Liliac.

That opening scream high note was held for 10 seconds, her voice never cracked, was clean, and the pitch never changed. That was impressive. What a way to open a song with that incredible high pitch scream, Such an epic opening to a song. Also the Lead Guitar riff is punchy, and catchy, Sam is a really good guitar player. His sweeps and technical ability. He is very clean in his playing.

I'm surprised that it took this long for you to listen to Liliac, but you will not be disappointed! I've been a Fang, as they call their fans, for a while now, having first found their covers of great classics from Metallica, Ozzie, Dio, Joan Jett, Black Sabbath and more, then their originals like "Mars", "Chain of Thorns" and "Dancing in the Dark", all kick ass songs! Dio's drummer nick named Melody(lead singer) as "MeloDio", as she counts Dio as a big inspiration for her vocal style. I was able to see them live this year and yes they are the real deal! I've heard several reactors compare Sam(oldest sibling and lead guitarist) to Randy Rhodes! Abigale on the drums is a force of nature, hard hitting and fun to watch! I am a Fang, Maidiac, and a member of The Warning Army and believe rock music is alive and well and in capable hands!

@@WavePotter react to a couple more of their songs.. lol. You're own curiosity will turn you into a master on who's who. Of their originals, in order, I'd recommend "Nothing", "Mars", "Sail Away" to give you a feel for style, ability and range. The covers, as @Cristy Rawks has said, are amazing.. They did Crazy Train on the Santa Monica Pier and it's must see. They've covered Dio's Rainbow in the dark, Holy Diver and Last in Line. Their cover of White Stripes 7 Nation Army is nothing less than shoplifting - they took it to a so much better level and owned it. Metallica's Enter Sandman and Master of Puppets are insane good. They've covered Janice Joplin, Joan Jett (hate myself for loving you) and just kill em. Not a cover band, it's a means to an end for getting noticed when you're not on a label. And this is a LIVE band.. haven't been to a concert myself yet as I'm still relatively new to them myself; but, was a near instant convert and own their entire discography.. that took like a week. These kids are a deep drink of fresh water in a desert of stagnant irradiated pools.

Mickey Mayfield is spot on. I love their covers of Holy Diver, Paranoid, and especially Enter Sandman, too. He picked a couple perfect originals for you with Mars live and Sail Away. The Mars vid let's you see what Sam can really do with a guitar, and Sail Away is more of a power ballad that lets you hear some aspects of Mel's voice that you don't get with the heavy metal stuff. She's even more amazing than you think. It also gives Justin a little spotlight that he doesn't usually get. Watch them. You won't be sorry.

Dude, Randy Rhoads plays the solo on Crazy Train, oh my god dude seriously that's like sacrilege to not know that, and you actually get paid for doing this?!! Steven Tyler seriously?! There are so many singers in the euro neoclassical metal scene that are dudes that sing just like her ridiculous ranges I'm not going to sit here and name any of them because obviously you probably wouldn't know who they were anyway.

Sam Cristea of Liliac has been influenced by many guitarists from Paul Gilbert, Randy Rhoads, Zakk Wylde, Eddie Van Halen, Vivian Campbell, Marty Friedman, Adrian Smith, Brian May, etc.

Dude how could you forget Randy Rhodes? Lol! Yeah I've also been following these guys for a few years now, and your reaction is not uncommon when you hear them for the first time. For me it was on their cover of Enter Sandman. I remember thinking "Hey these guys sound good. What are they, kids? Damn..." when they started playing. Then Melody kicked in with the vocals and I was like "OH MY GOD!!!" Been a big fan ever since.

I think it's safe to say no one will ever cover this song because NO ONE can do what Melodia can do vocally. I said what I said.

I love this song. I'm Not Afraid to say that there is not another vocalist like Melody Cristea on planet Earth. She is one of a kind. She said it herself in this song, Freak Of Nature. That's what she is, in a good way.
