Haschwalt broke Ichigo’s bankai with relative ease but Ichigo had chipped his sword a bunch due to him constantly wacking at the jail BUT regardless Haschwalt would have low diffed Ichigo even if he was at full health and fine, the Quincy are just that powerful Isshin is still Ichigo’s father. Yhwach is just referring to how Ichigo is a quincy who was born without knowing about himself and since Yhwach is the “father” of all Quincy he called him his “son. Hence the phrase “My son born in the dark”

When Ichigo's reiatsu vanished as he jumped - it was Sonido (Hollow's move) When Ichigo was sensing everyone's reiatsu vanishing - it was portrayed the same way as 'Pesquisa' (Hollow's sensing move) Hollow side leaking through when he's pissed off. As for Haschwalt breaking Ichigo's sword - Ichigo exausted himself inside the jail and then threw hands with Yhwch. His bankai was already at the limit, Haschwalt just finished it off.

The title card at the end instead of the beginning. Ichigo's reiatsu vaporizing the rain. The clash with Yhwach where he slides down his sword and cuts his arm. This episode had some real nice artistic touches.

better than new rappers.

Fun fact, if you go back and re-watch episodes 3 & 4 of the OG anime, when Rukia finds out Ichigo's mom is dead and Ichigo is having the flashbacks while laying in bed... The bed sheets he's laying on while thinking of his mom has a Quincy cross of them. People said this was a "assess pull" nah, Kubo literally planned this twist since chapter 7 of the manga.

This actually isn't the full concept the story is trying to Teach, it's brings into question the rules of war, Yama learned that his past ways were morally egregious, some things shouldn't be done, that's why in the real world wars stopped ending with people being enslaved and raped, we made rules for war...Ywach is calling Yama weak because he's progressed, he calls him weak because Yama doesn't view his allies as pieces to trample on anymore, but rather people to be cherished and honored, Ywach speech shows that his ideals are extreme and when he says "anything" to win he means it, and that's not something any society should champion.
