Can we just appreciate how Serena and Venus have ALWAYS celebrated and spoken highly of other players and opponents that defeat them. They have NEVER been mean, hateful or so caught up in their emotions that they couldn’t appreciate and celebrate their opponents on the court. The way Serena handled the crowd booing Naomi after Naomi beat her was class personified.

Serena was not always as gracious as she is now. When she first came out, she did not always have nice things to say about her opponents. She used to talk only about herself. The only opponent she had nice things to say about was Venus; and that's because she is her sister .

Congratulations to her Dad and Mom for keeping her grounded and focused. Four years ago, watching her play, though she was trying to win the her match. I could see she was learning the opponents, and the dynamics of the game. For an example, in her early years, her return volleys would be right within easy reach of her opponent. She didn't spread the ball over the court enough, causing her opponents to have to run or spend much energy. But today, she has her opponents all over the place, frustrated and drained. She has matured and is the next greatest tennis player. CoCo, the great. A phenomenal player.

Coco conducts herself very professionally and is well-spoken for her age. I love Coco Gauff.💞💗💞 I think she has an amazing family structure and team around her that supports her and has prepared her for big moments and situations that nothing will stop her or be too big for her. Salute to Coco, her parents, the coach, and the team. I'm officially a part of her support team from afar.

Some day she will but she kinda hit a wall once got to top 10. Hope she and her dad find a good coach that fits well for her so her dad can relax and can beat aryna sabalenka and iga swiatek and other top players. She has the talent, has the height, has the quickness but not aggressive enough and doesnt know when to be where on the court vs top players like how she gonna lose to ostapenko? John McEnroe said he hasn't seen any doubters regarding Gauff. However, right here on youtube, a tennis coach predicted Gauff would never win a major. Considering she was a very young talent, with much more experience, growth, and maturity ahead of her, it didn't make sense to be making such an absolutist projection. I imagine Gauff must've snubbed her coaching...seemed more like hate than an honest critique of the youngster. Anyway, when she won the U.S. Open, I came back to youtube to try to find that coaches video prediction of nothing but majors failures for Gauff.🤭

I’ve read several comments like that right here, mostly from white men for some reason, that she wasn’t gonna get any better. Women’s tennis is so difficult, Serena and Margret Court are the only players to win over 20 majors. Chris Everett was the best Florida player. But, she played in a era when the Tennis Associations were split up. Billie Jean King, Rosie Casalaz, Mary Carrillo and others were on the Virginia Slims tour, they are the reason why prize money is equal to the men.

I so vividly remember when Venus and Serena came to prominence when they were so young. I listened to the Wimbledon commentary on the radio at work every day. They’ve always seemed very nice, especially Venus, and I hope Coco will have the support to follow in their footsteps rather than doing a Boris Becker.

Tennis and Golf are lifelong games, but Coco is in her prime while Venus and Serena are in their peaks so it’s much better for them to train together and share knowledge for the love of the sport.

Venus and Sernea have opened the doors for young, non-white people from around the world to feel comfortable trying and going into a sport they normally couldn't due to money and/or acceptance. Absolute GOATS!
