Knowing how psycho “fans” can be, I mean celebs have been killed by psycho fans, I definitely 100% understand why they have to be so “extra” for these sessions. I am sure her security team HATES these sessions !

An awkward moment that I remember from the Lover secret session in London: There was a group of girls sitting on the floor chatting and Tree didn’t see them and almost fell over them. Tree said: “Oh, I’m sorry I almost stepped on you” and one them replied: “It’s OK, you can step on me”, and I cringed so hard watching this.

Update: Just saw your cameo in the reputation secret session video and let me tell you… THE WAY I GASPED. You went from cheering ur ass off, to awkwardly dancing/ looking annoyed at other swifties, to saying “She feels like my best friend” with tears in ur eyes. This video honestly gave me such an adrenaline rush. It was so much fun to live vicariously through your experience and imagine what it might have felt like had I been there too. Thank you for such a thorough account - it really put a clear picture in my head of how it all went down.

The trick of making you feel close to her is a "rich thing" trick, I have worked for many wealthy families and to make you care or buy into their wants and dreams, they need you to feel a false feeling of ownership to channel your energy into the projection. And a sales technique is to keep notes on your clients, so you can easily converse and make it seem more personal.

What would be awesome to see is like a session/gala at a winery where only 25+ can enter and it’s like a whole application with an essay portion. Like a scholarship 😂 and then Taylor can perform some songs acoustically. I feel like it would be classier and less weird than being in a room of young people who mob anyone related to Taylor. And people who aren’t on social media actually get a chance to meet her.

Imo, the whole rushing everybody to sign the NDA contract was not ok, specially since I know Taylor is so protective towards security. this video was so informative and entertaining. thank youu. i’ve personally never had the chance to attend a secret session but i think one of my biggest hesitations with it is being surrounded by psychos to be quite honest 😅 i’m a swiftie but the community can be extremely infuriating as most treat her like some god and also dump on others. i’m not pulling the whole “i’m not like other girls” card lol, but i’ve been attacked for so many of my taylor swift opinions that don’t even involve her - i’ll say something as simple as my thoughts on a song and next thing i know i get death threats 💀 so yes, this video was really refreshing and thanks for that! i just found your channel but i love the vibes you give off💕

That NDA was you signing your voice (the ability to talk about the secret sessions) away for a pair of legs (the ability to meet Taylor (again))

As a Lover secret sessionners I totally recognize myself in your video😁 I also had the chance to meet Taylor before the SS and I find it surreal 1- I think that the problem of the contracts in the case of the Rep Secret Sessions was solved when it was Lover since we received the contract by email two / one week before the event 2- During my secret sessions Taylor said that SS was her favorite tradition 3- In Lover SS London most of the swifties were adults. But yes there were some pretty cringe moments. For example Tree almost stepped into one of the girls and she apologized and the swifties said to her: you can step on me🤡

I am 24 years old and have been a swiftie since I was 11, I have been trying so hard to get noticed by Taylor on twitter or tik tok but it is so impossible the older you get and the more you aren't as focused on that type of stuff, and can't get invites from Taylor Nation because of it. But, that doesn't stop her from being my number one artist on spotify every year!

It does honestly break my heart to think that if only you guys had been allowed +1s, Madeline would have been able to come to a SS, and the Rep SS no less. It makes me mad to think that (alledgedly) people abusing the unbelievable goodwill Taylor offered in RI led to a smaller Nashville session; I hate it when a minority of people ruin things for everyone else in any case.

I love this video you explained everything about the ss really well!!!

I love TS, but considering how she is such a fighter for fairness in the industry, it is hypocritical to give contracts with no time to read them. This should have been sent in advance, and you are entitled to a copy of anything you sign. The pressure to sign seems unfair, and while I understand that she needs privacy, secrecy and safety, your safety is just as important, and you are in someone's house you do not know.

went to a nashville lover ss & two things: 1) so true bestie there absolutely *were* mainly 14 year olds at the event, i was fighting in the trenches almost by myself as a 21 year old, i lost clumps of my hair from some of the trauma 2) we got our nda's sent to us via email & jus had to bring them to the event signed so its such a juicy morsel that they made you guys sign them w ipads at the event like sjkdjkfksjds that's so unhinged: the most important binding legal document of ur life and you dont even know it was djkfjdjd ok i lied one more thing: it was so surreal watching you recount this because we had such similar experiences and it was like me reliving it one more time and i just love ur content king, keep! it! up! please & thank you

I understand where you're coming from! But New Year's Day is an emotional song at least in my opinion. Rep is a very important and precious album to me. Songs started being released shortly before my dad's passing and then after my 13th birthday rolled around and my mom had surprised me with tickets to LA night 2! I've been listening to her since I was 6 years old and her music has carried me through so many pivotal moments in my life! And this era really connected with me where I was then. Grieving the loss of my dad as well as dealing with a handful of other trauma's and burdens. And when I first listened to New Year's Day it brought me to tears (definitely not hysterically sobbing though lol). The song feels very reminiscent to me. As if lovingly looking back onto precious memories with someone you didn't end up having forever with. And because of that and the impactful time the album was released it always strikes a very strong chord in my heart! 🫶🏻

Thanks for sharing this experience! I live in Argentina and i buy the first line ticket for her show in Brazil, but covid happen. (Still sad about it). And, anyways, i been in USA a lot of times because my sister lives there and i always think there is a change that i may be able to meet her, just because iam in the same country as her hahaha. I completely get it when you said that as you get older the feeling of meeting with her change, like i know i would loose my mind but i will try to act chill because she is been so devoted at doing this sessions for so long, and even knowing that yes, at the end is a marketing moves ( thought, i thinks it as been evolving into that, but at first i have no doubt that it was a genuine propose of meeting us), the true is that she dont have to do it anymore. We, the ones that have been for her since we were little and over the years keep choosing her as an artist, woman model and business woman role model; we will keep doing it no matter what. Like she totally as earn that special place in our hearts and minds. So, i just want to thank you for let us all knowing that even if you get older there ir a change to meet her hahaha. I'm glad this showed up on my on my recommended. My daughter has been a swiftie for probably a decade now, so I take an interest. I enjoyed hearing about some of the details of this experience from your perspective. The lengths they go to organize this is understandable. There is a lot to admire about her, and I also know that is not a life I would want. I am amazed, given her celebrity and all the demands on her, she is still able to stay creative and relatively "normal", lol. I wonder how her life has changed from back then ... she was huge then ... and now her celebrity is stratospheric. I wonder what she thinks about it when she has a moment to reflect ... if she even gets private moments like that anymore.

If somebody was disabled and got invited to a secret session, do you think they’d be allowed to bring either a guardian/plus 1 because of that? I’m autistic and want to go to one someday, but I’m not sure how I would work out transportation/people staying with me because of the different rules and how they sometimes change and what not. I do remember watching the official session video and saw a girl in a wheelchair there, so I’m sure they would make exceptions just as long as you informed them ahead of time?

hey Rachel! yep I'm sure they would definitely allow that in this circumstance :) they ask when you're invited if there's any accommodations they need to make for you and I'd presume that would be totally fine based on how nice they were in general
