Loved the emphasis on not just knowing how to use the software but understanding the math and physics behind simulations. It’s a crucial reminder that tools are only as good as our understanding of what they're doing. Similar to what I try to tell mechanical engineers in my videos.

I graduated in late 2022 in Mechanical Engineering and recently graduated in a Masters in Robotics and was wondering if you could do a video on how we could study from the textbooks you have recommended and that we used when we are university in an efficient way so we one can brush up on their knowledge quickly. Hello bro can I move to CAE department of i have experience in designing??

Would these softwares be beneficial for a layman who doesn't have formal mechanical engineering training? I only have calculus up to calculus 3, multivariable calculus. Physics I at university. At the very least i think itd be cool to apply it if i were to have a mechanical engineering project come up Edit: Also not sure I caught this properly, the simulation software helps with design of experiments?

You have what’s needed to learn CAE fundamentals given you’ve taken calculus 1-3 and physics. CAE can be used to obtain DOE outputs, but you will still need to setup one yourself.

Is It really worth learning cae as a mechnical engineer? I think most of the big company has cae team so that most of ME actually dont need to care about how simulation works
