Very helpful video. I hear that if you could afford, oversize the capacity so that the compressor doesn't have to work as hard. So for instance, a 1450sq house would be adequate with a 2.5 to 3 ton, would it be even more efficient and system not work as hard if I do a 4 ton?

That's not always a good thing....system will start and stop before the condenser gets to the proper pressure and superheat,subcooling for adequate operation causing premature failure

It's more efficient to run longer cycles such as an hour or longer in the evening hours on the average summer day and the system should be sized so it runs continuously from 2pm until the sun is down on the hottest days where there are no clouds. Start/stop is worse than running a longer cycle and reduces efficiency and prevents proper dehumidification which becomes more important on the average summer days when the unit is running less than the hottest days.
