Cool clean old car. Build a snappy 302 & find an old Top loader. Make a couple of sleepers.

The Meteor is a cooler car. When I was a kid, our neighbor had one. It was a 2 door coupe. 260 V8 got decent gas economy. Beautiful deep aqua color. Both cars have generators, not alternators. Easy to rebuild if you need to.

I would check for apps of trucks that would pick up loads to take cross country. Good luck driving home, I am sure you will have a good set of tools.
