Honestly, it is just idealistic blindness, his 'fellowership' could easily turn into the thing he himself detests, i.e. Groupthink. Acolytes incapable of critical thinking because his adolescent audiance believe he's the quintessential father. I seriously respect the man but, at the end of the day, he is just a man who has already had two children and doesn't need anymore. How do one describes in words this amazing man and brilliant way he thinks and relate his message? In general, I'm a JP fan. Near the end he explains how stories allow us to identify with our lives. I like how he talks about Cain and you can see how sometimes he itentifies with the content and that he may be talking to himself while educating his audience. Imo. Love this guys work.

Jordan Peterson spoke on having a job that you hate and said that just because it is place that brings you misery doesnt mean that good things do not come from that misery and that made me not as miserable working a 9-5 job

This is pretty practical. I think of it as thinking of different paths forward and cutting off the ones that won't work. You have to conciously work at doing some things that are kind of interesting - but which are not you're real goal. At least I know that I do. I have to work to focus.

Be prepared to put in whatever work it takes to get you there and you'll get there. Do that and you'll stand out from the crowd, because most people don't do it. It's not rocket science, but it's darned effective.

Peterson So let’s get this straight you made yourself miserable so now you have to sacrifice yourself to try to be less miserable and also so you can be more yourself in the future or whatever you call it. Anyway, I’m taking about someone sacrificing their morals and soul. Also, people will just sacrifice themselves without ever asking why and then they will just throw their life away, based on an empty idea of how life should be, it’s moronic. Some people just shouldn’t have kids or stay at the same job. Living a life without risks is moronic and just spread the idea of people being miserable morons. Don’t try to be yourself and listening to everyone else your entire life and it will just lead to your downfall. People always try to shelter you and tell you to play it safe when it makes you into a cardboard cutout of a human being that finally learns that life isn’t that scary and you don’t have to be that miserable anymore, if you listen to yourself first. If your parents tell you they never want you to leave you better get the hell out because they’re not actually thinking on your behalf.

It all depends on what you make sacrifices for. If you make sacrifices for monetary gain you will get just that, which is part of the corrupt worldly system. But if you make sacrifices for the betterment of others and all, that is where true gains begin.

Thoughts and hopes died after3-4 years. Offered....put in limbo...walk away. I tried.

Those will sell! No one is selling amazing Jordan Peterson merch and it’s not like he’s gonna sue you. You can also create your own product and market it on your own channel in the pinned top comment on every video! You can also do affiliate marketing in your description because you get really consistent big views! You can also eventually do a shoutout for brand products for 15-30 seconds at the end of your videos! The viewers won’t mind that much! Once you start monetizing your channel you will be a lot more motivated to keep going! You need to pay yourself for all this work if not you will burn out inevitably. Although we don’t know you, or your name, you provide us with emotions that connect us to your channel! We will support you! I don’t know if you even need to hear this, but I’m on a great high right now, I’m back in the game! I have been stuck and been in the dump of doubt, and if that’s where you are right now then I’m here to tell you to keep going! Be proud of yourself you are a REAL channel with 100,000 subscribers! Celebrate! And hell! Give yourself some time off if that’s what you’re doing! Maybe my message is pointless but I just think you deserve to pay yourself and i can’t tell if you’re burning out or not so just know that you are worth it! Love this clip. However, Peterson is speaking about something intellectual. Emotion is the antithesis of this. The background music is beautiful, but for this piece, it does nothing but detract from the message.
