What I meant in my comment is that the lack of curiosity to explore the world we live in (explore in a broader sense, like the examples you mentioned, not necessarily by traveling all the time) is a dealbreaker to me :) and to address the comment above - we live in the era when lowcost traveling is available to everyone. you don't have to have a lot of money to travel. to the other side of the world, yes, but to explore your own country and the neighbouring countries - I don't think so. Yeah, if someone says “I value honesty and direct communication” then I like that. If someone says, “I’m brutally honest” then they’re probably being honest about the brutal part. I find it’s often just their way of saying, “I’m rude and won’t bother to consider how I might upset you, nor would I care if I upset you. Your emotions are your problem, not mine, so if I straight up insult you and then you get upset then maybe you’re just too sensitive. If you criticise me for the things I say because you’re just expressing your honest feelings and opinions, then maybe you should consider that I’m supposed to be the honest one and only my thoughts and feelings on things matter to me.” Yeah, based on my experiences, definitely run from someone claiming to be “brutally honest”.

The college degree one is definitely narrow minded but the friends one really makes sense. It just depends on why said person doesn’t have friends and how they react to ur own friends. Did he/she changed locations and doesn’t have an established friend group? Thats normal. Is he/she an introvert and therefore doesn’t really seek out friendship ? Thats ok I guess But if they don’t have friends for neither of this reasons it might exist some underlying motive why they don’t and that motive is more often than not a red flag abt them (toxic behavior, being to clingy etc…)
