The top handle bag with the gold metallic sides has been making the rounds on Instagram, so I'm betting it's going to be one of the most popular pieces. I've been hyping myself to get a ~special occasion winter bag in a seasonal texture, either something fluffy, or something velvet- or something fully sequined if the evil part of my brain wins. Anyways, I'm living for the super metallics we're seeing this season.

THE BEST BAG!!

I love seeing how designers realize that their products need strong identity with the strong logos/makers marks for people to gather around to keep from being generic. Its not for vanity as I used to think but rather to establish a way forward. Being decisive is attractive because it requires strength. And this is beneficial in high competition. I also love seeing the range of personalities that Chanel designs for, there is quite a variety, you have snow-bunny to dreamer to farmers market-goer to art-show-seeker to heavy-chain-hustler, to name only a few!

I have to say, the lavender items are amazing!!! And I am SO happy the purses come in a caviar leather which is hard to find for pastels!!! Also loving the tweed jacket and skirt to match, the buttons are a shiny beautiful CC - so gorgeous on!! Thank u Cassie for the fun reactions! Helps a lot of people when they are on the fence about an item.

I love the hammered metallic calfskin. IMO, it's a perfect example of how Chanel can make "fun" textures without sacrificing the quality. A metallic handbag could look cheap, but Chanel did it so well.

Sorry, were you talking? I was looking at my Hangisi shoes in the top right corner. Only jesting, of course I was listening to you! Nearly choked on the cobalt blue boots and matching slg! It takes a certain type of personality to pull that look off doesn't it? Apart from the Tron handbag and the plexiglass stuff with an outrageous price tag, I thought that the collection was gorgeous. If nobody is prepared to do it, I volunteer as tribute to rock the Studio 54 trust fund brat look and take the bags out to see if they snag on clothing (dodgy substances will be consumed, to give the full range of bag usage). I think that Chanel got the toggle idea from Stone Island - I can just see the Gallagher brothers rocking them! Thank you for collating all this for us, muchly appreciated here 🥰

I have the gold croc stamped mini and i think i need the silver hammered flap to balance it. Lol. But the baby blue mini with top handle is just sending me……. Hate the toggle on the other mini. That chain Mail stuff reminds me of my grandmother, who had all sorts made out of it. Probably still does, if I’m honest! It was the softest, most tactile thing ever, and I loved playing with it as a kid. If the chain mail they’re using is scratchy, they’re using some bad stuff, as it was never ever scratchy!

Thank you for the quick and dirty on the collection! I was gonna, but our COVID numbers are worse here than last year! So no going anywhere now. When I do step out finally, I don’t want it to be in last-season’s anything. I would use the heck out of that mirror though. I’m liking the pink small box bag! It’s cute! Worn with a cute jean, puffer coat, funky sneaker, and worn as a crossbody! It’s gives a look! I like the silver classic flap & gold wallet on a chain, but I’m always cautious of metallic painted leather. Will the silver / gold paint start to fade or peel after a few years, as I’ve seen on quite a few metallic leather handbags?? This is the only reason why I’ve never bought a gold or silver painted leather handbag. I’m scared of it happening to me. 👏🏾 What I liked least was the multi-color handbag with the odd font writing of “Chanel” plastered all over it. Very tacky and too loud! Good video Cass!👌🏾
