In the anime MetaKnight works under King Dedede but tries to help Kirby anyways, and litterally says they are *Both star warriors and of the same species!* Also *Sakurai plays the part King Dedede in the Japanese version so can't say he's not involved!*

Meta knight referring to both of kirby and him as Star warriors, And clearly. Meta knight, Galacta Knight and Morpho knight are the Only knights shown in the entire Game and Anime. which probably means Kirby is the NEXT Star warrior and being trained under Meta knight instead of the other 2 since he is more reasonable...

Sakurai DID work with the anime though, do I'm pretty sure any new lore in the anime is still accurate. You wouldn't have zero tell MegaMan they're both mermaids on the anime if that wasn't Canon would you? Especially if the creator is involved?

I LOVE Meta Knight. I honestly think he might be one of my favorite Nintendo characters. I really think there should be a Meta Knight Mode in every Kirby game, as he's just so freaking awesome. It would be such a great incentive to 100% every Kirby game just to play as this guy.

The butterfly design has been used in Kirby Star Allies, but is a form of Galacta Knight, not Meta Knight. I won't spoil more, go give it a look for yourself on other KZread videos ;)

Call me blasphemous, but I liked Meta Knight's Spanish accent in the 4 Kids dub of the anime.

I agree it made him sound like he was always calm and collected so you never really know what he is going to do, sometimes he is following King Dedede's orders and some times kicking him off a cliff.

Same. Kirby was my childhood show and Meta Knight's voice (and him in general) was one of the best things.

Who would have thought doing a thick, fake accent would hurt one's throat? XD Let this be a lesson. If you are a white guy with an American accent, avoid doing a really thick foreign accent. And if you are a casting agent want someone to do said accent, find someone that has a background in the country that accent came from. (Or you know, don't force your actors to make their voices go that low)

I know a guy who has an EXTREMELY low voice. He wants to be an actor, too. You should probably try to find someone who has a naturally low voice if you want one.

It's so interesting to see how HAL Labs were hinting towards Morpho Knight even though he wouldn't debut for a long while (3:21), and how he was still shown as the red butterfly in other games. It makes you think what other "unused" content is actually unused

Is Dedede even a villain at this point? Aside from Kirby's Dreamland, and if you want to count it, Dedede's Revenge in Superstar Ultra, he hasn't done anything outright villainous of his own will since, or if he did, like in Kirby's Adventure, it's eventually revealed he had a good reason to.

I remember back in Brawl, I was actually shocked to learn Meta Knight was from the Kirby games (I was like 8). And I still think everything about the character is freakin' hilarious.

+SuperUnhappyman Actually, Looker did have a Toxicroak, but it passed away. He did also have at least two other Pokemon beforehand, since the manga shows Looker entering the Unova League, which requires the entrants to have at least three Pokemon.
