Да уж.... но мы в России не очень далеко ушли. Все большие заводы развалили. Скоро останутся похожие «цеха». Только у нас ещё и холода иногда приходят. Босиком не поработать

Технология конечно древняя! Может быть ребята и хорошо качественно всё делают, в обычной обстановке, но к ним приехала сьемочная группа, на камеру ребята показали экстрокласс, не взирая на большие косяки!

на ладе то шатуны ходят, а вот на крузаках и бехах на Х-ах обрывает с завидной регулярностью.

Ready for machining? More like ready for re melting and casting after all that hammering, you could see the bend easily on the video.

LoL! The mould is literally falling apart. Then they're beating on the part while it's still soft with a sledge hammer. If that part even fits, how long before it wears out everything around it?

I suspect these are very low horsepower truck engines. I'm thinking more like a Model A than a Kenworth. My question is: What is the fuel for their kiln? It's not that easy to get a kiln up to the temp to pour steel.

@@bumpedhishead636 Don't think they're for an engine, more likely a low speed piston water pump, the metal is being smelted in a furnace not a kiln (furnaces are usually open "topped" whereas a kiln is like a high temperature oven), "firing" could be either fuel (gas/liquid fuel) & blown air (the whining background noise sounds like an air blower), induction or electric heating elements ----- hope this helps.

Вот по этому компрессора изготовленные в кустарных мастерских и не ходят долго. Неизвестный сплав из вторчермета, плюс допуски запредельные при проточке, и тп...

These parts aren't made for any precision work. As long as these things work for a few weeks or months, using very low cost labor, the people who use them are happy. It's not the workers' fault. They are doing the best with what they have. Their health will suffer in the future. The fault lies with the outside world that has deprived these people of resources and the people who patronize these joints.

I think they just rushed it to make the video shorter what I find funny is after another Carrington event which no doubt is coming everyone who relies on high tech equipment to cnc the same part out of a solid block of aluminum will be left with nothing while people who can still do the work by hand will have parts

Nothing. They do not have a production culture even for their technology. Everything around is littered. Modern technologies do not tolerate this approach.

Раньше смотрел как они кувшины, ведра делают, машины украшают, пойдет в принципе Но к серьезным вещам их нельзя подпускать- ремонт двигателей, литье деталей и тд

I mean I get it, not everyone lives in a first world country. But even these guys should understand the difference between the straight rod they use in a die and the banana-rod they made. I look at it that way: they put in effort, but a lot of it is wasted because of little things they don't seem to know. That way, parts may fail not prematurely but rather right away and then they go on to redo everything in hope next time it works. But hey, whatever keeps the engines running even if it's for half the day.

The wheel was just invented in this place just 2 years ago. What we are witnessing is evolution. Next year they will be introduced to the newer green deal and be shut down.

Newsflash, this just in! For a lot of people in 3rd world countries this is the BEST it's ever going to get due to heavy lack of infrastructure, the rampant corruption, the heavy lack of proper education, the lack of their government asking for assistance from other nations in providing the much needed materials/training to literally bring them out of this state and finally the lack of good materials in general...That metal pile was pure scrap as that's ALL they have available to them at any given time.

They spent all that time casting the metal forms, only for some guy to ‘remodel’ the newly cast items by smashing them with a hammer..

sandals, bare feet, no safety glasses, the 'factory' looks like it was bombed yesterday: OSHA would have field day with these guys.
