Interesting what is beautiful for each person, isn't it? 😊 before I decided what the next language would be that I wanted to learn I had watched some Japanese and Chinese dramas to decide between the two. And decided to learn Chinese because when I listen to Japanese, even when they say 'I love you and you are important to me and want to be with you til the end of my life ' sounds so violent and rough like if they say ' I will hunt you and kill you with all your family, you're gonna die 🤬' and I just blinked and couldn't believe that he said something NICE and not that 😄 then I watched some Chinese movies and it was heart-melting,like a beautiful song. Right then I knew I would choose Mandarin 😊 and French is the super last one I would choose to learn, together with Vietnamese 😆 I'm just curious,can I ask where you are from? ( Just to understand why French is beautiful to you 😊) by the way i'm from Hungary

I did. I hear this a lot when I chat to Chinese people. I personally think Italian is very nice to listen to, but incredibly fast! And of course, I love Chinese!

當然覺得中文很美，覺得芬蘭話很可愛，韓語很酷，然後我的語言德語也非常美，很適合詩。在德語裡邊還有很多意第緒語的字，說起來很令人滿意。但是我覺得每一個語言要看是誰在講的。每一個語言也可以不好聽。

日本語と答えてくれた人が複数人いてびっくりした。予想通り、フランス語と答えた人もいて、聞き心地が良いと感じるのは国が違えど同じだなぁって思った。

Why are you surprised? Japanese culture is very interesting.
I think it’s interesting how many Chinese people like French and think it’s beautiful because to me when I first heard it, it sounded like Chinese 😂 thk that’s what I fell in love with, it almost sounded to me like an Asian language so exotic at the same time mixed with Arabic…anyway…that’s what I used to think about it ❤

@@ExtraterrestrialEarthling it does, to me, it has same soft sounds as Chinese if you really listen to French pronounciation, it’s enchanting, comes off sounding like mandarin to me …

@@LucasRodrigues-eq4my linguistically the tone and the vowels holds up a major part of makes a language sound beautiful and French does excel in terms of that such as the "u" sound or "au" sounds which aren't really common in other languages
i can't pick just one, i think a lot of languages are beautiful, i love my own language (pt-br), German, Mandarin of course, Japanese, Russian and Zulu

Personally I can't pick one. For Asian Languages I think Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Cantonese and Thai are all nice sounding. For Western Languages, Spanish, French, Italian and English all are nice.

Haha yes! It’s not easy to decide which one is the most beautiful one as every language is actually quite attractive!
我觉得俄语很好听. They pronounce the sounds very clearly. 也喜欢汉语 that's why I'm learning it.❤

我是法國人，看我有兩個法文，第一是在學校學的法文算是漂亮因為我們用適當的句子，並且第二有常常說的法文，我們顛倒單字的音節像女人「femme meuf, fou(crazy) ouf」什麼的，用一些阿拉伯文的字像「Inch'Alla, wesh, toubib...」。

Uh, my hobby is to learn more and more languages...and the very very last one is French, because it's sooo ugly for me...actually I don't know if French is the last one I would learn or Vietnamese...( sorry for my opinion) But definitely Mandarin is the most beautiful one ❤😊

Its interesting to notice that nowadays people go crazy with french and the only reason i can think for that is the expansionism made by french during napoleon era and the beginning of modern era in Occident. Its more like a cultural thing than just a likable thing, besides french we have English but since “everyone” speak it no one considere it like foreign language anymore.

Have to admit I myself wouldn't mention English as a foreign language either, because how you said, everybody speaks it (more or less😄) - it's not my mother tongue either... Anyway, I think most people think French is elegant, and lots of American actors and actresses try to learn it to show off, but uh...🤢 as for me, no thanks 😄
Ukrainian is very beautiful language.💙💛 Also I like English.❤ I enjoy listening to English and Spanish songs. and I think French also sounds very nice.

Every languages are beautiful except may be arabic, hebrew & dutch
Mandarin sounds much nicer than it's written, the lack of alphabet is the main reason why foreigners avoid this language.

Any language can be spoken in a beautiful of ugly way. The most pleasant I have heard are Spanish of Castilia region, Russian, High German, Queen's English, President Chirac's French, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese. Most "ugly" Cuban Spanish and French soccer player's French, Mosel area German.
