What's the difference between HHC and THC? - Distromike

In a practical sense, there isn’t that much that truly separates HHC (hexahydrocannabinol) from THC (tetrahydrocannabinol). Both of these are psychoactive cannabis compounds, meaning you will find both of them in naturally occurring cannabis, and both of them will provide users with an uplifting experience, more commonly referred to as a “high”.
When vaped, HHC provides a strong head high that often still allows the user to focus or concentrate, and it often doesn’t create unwanted feelings of anxiety or paranoia. These qualities make it a great choice for all-day use. THC is typically associated with a more intense and comprehensive body-high in addition to being either uplifting or sedative, depending on the strain of THC cannabis that is being consumed.
The Science
If you want to get really technical, the main difference between THC and HHC is that a THC molecule includes a pentyl side chain attached to a dibenzopyran ring. On the other hand, HHC contains a cyclohexyl side chain in this same location, differentiating the molecules from a scientific and legal standpoint. More simply stated, HHC is a hydrogenated form of THC.
From a Legal Perspective
The tiny molecular differences create large implications for the legality of these compounds. THC (or more specifically Delta 9 THC) is usually found in traditional cannabis flower and concentrate products. This compound is heavily regulated in the US and is considered a controlled substance in many states. Some states do have systems for medical patients to access THC cannabis, and a growing number have given up completely on adult-use restriction and have chosen to adopt a recreational cannabis model with dispensaries accessible to anyone 21 and up.
HHC (and every other hemp-derived cannabinoid) was made legal with the passing of the 2018 Farm Bill, which essentially established that any cannabis product containing less than 0.3% Delta 9 THC would fall into the “Hemp” category. Since quality HHC products don’t contain measurable amounts of THC, they are considered federally legal and are only restricted in states that have placed bans on these specific molecules.

There’s a big difference when it comes to buying HHC vs THC products.
THC products are federally regulated. This means that unless a state has established a system for access, THC is illegal. With that being said, a large percentage of the US now offers some form of access to THC, whether it be sold in medical settings or in recreational dispensaries. In any case, there are specific places to purchase THC products in any area.
In markets where THC is heavily restricted or less accessible, you may find a large number of smoke shops and convenience stores selling hemp-derived cannabinoids like Delta 8 and HHC. Because these products are federally legal, they do not require special licensing to buy or sell, and in many cases you can even purchase them online.

He described it very well. I just got a mellow fellow HHC sativa disposable. Good taste and a very uplifting feeling. And I was working outside in 90+ degrees weather. I hit the cart once or twice every hour or 2 and gets me through the day.

Nah dog too many years of people still thinking weed is bad people still out here buying from the weed man too and I’m on a legal state I got notes on cannabinoids and all but no one cares to listen to even homie dude going to a dispensary wants to hear he can get high for cheaper Thca 3.5 ->40$ HHC 7.0 -->20$ Usually less tho 17 or 16 dollars
One year of HHC. So far so good. It really is just as he described here. What I will add is for me personally, HHC seems adaptable to whatever you are doing. If you are chilling you are chilling. If you want to lock in to something you can. If you want to scroll and giggle it will do that. I do not recommend D8 or whatever. Delta almost made me not like Altnoids because the Anxiety ruins it. HHC or THC. Oh and even more importantly NO ODOR! At least from the CR(not saying the full name because its not my channel).

hi dude, i smoke regularly as a student at home with parents (i am of legal age) so obviously im not gonna have loads of money to spend but i was thinking of getting a hhc disposable as its more discrete however it is 40 bucks and i dont want to regret it when i could get 4+ grams of weed. would you recommend it? (in the most pleasant way possible i just want to get obliterated without the worry of smell) and thc vapes are banned in my country so this is the alternative

@@ddm6779 if u tryin to hide it u too young to buy it. all seriousness tho most hhc dispo and carts just smell like vape juice. the terps are super artificially sweet tasting on most flavors bc they are bdt not cdt. i recommend a cdt cart over bdt as it gives u a smoother and nicer taste in terps as opposed to the artificially tasting bdt carts (also imo the cdt carts always hit a lil harder)

@@ddm6779yes. Have been using hhc vapes for months and love them. I use them nearly every night and they are great because you get high but after a while of using you learn how to get high but stay aware and you still have some control. I can use the hhc and still have a convo if needed (unless I take a lot). Just great vibe overall

@@ddm6779 hey! i have been using it for 2 years now as a legal age student as well and i would say hhc is really the best option, especially baked because youre getting extremely clean and high quality weed that wont give you effects when youre older as well as keeping you in the legal limits. a huge plus ive found with hhc is it doesnt make me LOOK high, and they dont smell as long as say delta 9, so no one can know for the entire time if you dont tell them. oh ya and these get you baked. like the name says
