Bill Dance is the Bob Ross of fishing and the hero of my childhood. He's had his hands in more mouths than a dentist. God bless you Bill.

Man, watching these takes me back. I would spend weekends at my grandparents during the summer watching this show and then going down to the bridge and trying to catch my own fish. I never really caught much at the old fishing hole except for memories that I sill cherish today. I would pay good money to be able to go back for just one more day.

What timing for seeing this video. In the tackle section yesterday and noticed this unusual looking lure and decided to add it to my purchase. Anxious to put the buzz plug in the water. Thanks 👍

Watching Bill Dance reminds me of a story I heard when I was a kid. A fisherman caught a nice large mouth bass. He reeled it in and as he was taking the hook out of the bass a small water moccasin bit him on the hand. Seems the bass had grabbed the snake then the fishermans bait. The snake was still in the fishes mouth. NOW I'm not saying this story is true....it is just what I heard.

These are pike killers as well. Try one in a pike lake one day. You won't regret it.

Your right bill. Nothing like a bass hitting a top water lure. It will make you jump out of your clothes. If you know what I mean. 😅😅.

Hey Bill I have a question, if I’m fishing 5ft of water near shore and some grass and weeds, should I use a saucy swimmer with Texas rig?

If Bill or his minions see this comment can Bill define "slow" in a future video. In this video his retrieve of the "buzz plug" looks fast to me.

He had to change to a different approach. This happens a lot. Fish don't always do as we think they should.
