I seriously have no idea who at Kellogg’s approved those creepy designs for the Rice Krispies mascots, or why that person hasn’t been fired/demoted yet. Their faces just completely turn me off buying anything Rice Krispies-related. 😬

They look even worse in Australia, where they're exactly the kind of glurgy, cutesy designs Brookes advised against in his video about "cute" characters.

I cant believe i nailed the 2 tones without even knowing it. My character Ebb is a mascot, a online persona and a character that just seems to fit it all for me, really interesting!

Sometimes mascots take a while to work out, Pikachu was totally accidental and mostly a result of poor communication between the game devs and the anime creators, he wasn't even meant to say his name, but by the time the developers found out a lot of the anime had been made and it was too late to change.

It wasn't even going to be the mascot of the franchise, Clefairy was going to be Ash's first pokemon, but so many people liked Pikachu that they changed it I personally prefer Clefairy (and lots of other pokemon) over Pikachu

When I first saw the wanderlumin I was instantly intrigued. I remember binging all you videos in my grandparents kitchen

Im fairly sure that Japan passed a law recently that forced them to limit the amount of mascots since too many were being made and I find that neat (take this with a chunk of salt though, i dont quite remember)

That peeling is so satisfying...

I've wanted to make a proper mascot for some time now, as opposed to the red stick figure I use now. Never been sure how I want to represent myself/my content though.

I've thought a little about designing a Mascot, but I don't have a reason to make one. Haha, but in the future I might.

Yeah, I think I've made an accidental mascot once or twice... The first I guess is in the picture to the left of this post, and the current one I've made seems to be something a lot of people who've seen it seem to like, and I'm not sure why. All I did was think "What if I take a gynoid-esque body, give it a spherical head, place a couple of cat ear-like antennae on it and give it a face that is literally a spark plug with eye lashes?". Yeah, out of the blue design and individual interests are weird :\ Well... at least it ain't a Melon Bear...

Love your stuff but I’m currently having a hard time making drawing a daily habit any quick tips you can (I know you’ve probably already made a video on this)
