a tip: you can watch series at kaldrostream. Me and my gf have been using it for watching a lot of movies these days.

I had trouble applying the vinyl to a rubberized surface on a child's cup. The vinyl would not adhere to the surface. I had to apply each letter separately by hand and I am afraid it will not stay on. Suggestions, please!

We have found that many rubberized cups have a little bit of silicon in them. This will make it hard for the adhesive to adhere to it.

Hi Dyane, Thank You for tuning in to our videos. When working with 651 on glass we all prefer the paper transfer tape. However, if you are planning on layering you may want to try the clear so that you can see through it a little easier. Hopefully this helps.

Hi, Im having a lot of trouble getting my vinyl 651 to actually stick to the transfer paper and I keep having to reverse weed, please help. I am applying the vinyl to a glass surface and it usually sticks pretty well, my only trouble is getting the vinyl itself to stick to the transfer paper, it never picks it all up. What transfer tape do you recommend I need something sticky?

Try burnishing front and back when applying transfer tape. Then peel the backing off (as opposed to lifting the vinyl up with transfer tape). If that does not help, we do have a clear transfer tape that has a medium-tack you may like better. expressionsvinyl.com/clear-transfer-tape-roll/

Hi! Which transfer tape would you say is a bit more versatile? If possible I'd like something that will work with various types of vinyl... I'm thinking I like the paper from watching this video? But I also have an issue with transfer tape stixkonf to what needs to be transferred. I currently have the cricut transfer tape and cricut vinyl and the transferring onto the transfer tape is not easy and its just the regular vinyl, not flirtwr or anything.

joann gold foil and cricut’s adhesive foil vinyl . the grid line transfer tape wasn’t picking it up

What would be the best series 31 or 51 to put a transfer on a wooden clothes hanger, I'm doing a project and also would like to know where to purchase the correct transfer paper in uk. Thanks for your great videos.

Unfortunately we do not have a store in the UK. You would need to order it from us, we no longer carry the Series 31 adhesive vinyl. We do still carry the Series 51 vinyl this one would work well for hangers.

I'm having the absolute worst time trying to remove Cricut Premium Vinyl from the backing. I wonder if that opaque one would work?

Hi, Are you using the Cricut Glitter vinyl or just the Premium outdoor vinyl? You may want to try a different type of transfer tape to see if that helps. Also, if you have cut too deep into the backing paper, that will cause a lot if issues as well. Try a couple of test cuts with your vinyl and the see if that helps to not have as deep of a cut but that it still cuts all the way through the vinyl. Hi Veronica, we use an HP Envy but there are a lot of great options out there. You just want to make sure that you are using an Inkjet and not a laser jet for most of the printable vinyl. Hopefully this helps.

Can you tell me how to apply vinyl to a shiny painted watering can? I can't seem to get it to stick and am getting very frustrated. Thanks

From your description of what you're applying to it should stick really well. Is this a metal painted watering can?Wich transfer tape are you using? Is the problem that the vinyl is not releasing from the transfer tape to stay on the can?

Just ordered your gridline clear transfer tape. just wanted to ask does it work with the cricut premium vinyl removable matte? I used the supergrip cricut transfer tape and it sometimes transfer over and sometimes i’m having a difficult time transferring .

Hi Karen, since it will only be on there for a few minutes you could just use the removable vinyl. That one isn't as tacky and will pull off easier. Also, for that same reason, the paper transfer tape would be easier to pull off.

Can you apply vinyl to painted cement walls?

Hi Marylou, vinyl will work best on smoother surfaces that it is able to stick to. You can try using it on a painted cement wall as the paint will help with the adhesion. However, unless it is a completely smooth surface you may experience some issues with it.

Noobie here. My biggest problem right now is getting my design off the backing. I have the Joy and I've tried all the different cutting pressure, but I'm still getting the backing coming up at the corners of my design Any tips?

You can use the Grid lined, clear and Paper with the Cricut Vinyl. The only vinyl you will have an issue with is the Cricut Glitter Vinyl. That one you need to use the Cricut Strong Grip Transfer Tape. Hopefully this helps.

How long did the paint cure before applying the transfer tape? It is possible that the transfer tape has a strong adhesive, which could peel up the paint.

Hi, the best vinyl to use on plastic buckets would probably be the permanent. It will last longer on it and is tackier than removable. Any of the different types of transfer tape that we carry would work as well. It would depend if you wanted to be able to see through it for layering. If so, then use the clear. If that's not an issue then our personal favorite is the paper. Should I cut as a mirror image?

Hi, if you are cutting adhesive vinyl which is what you would use with this transfer tape then you do not mirror the image. The only time you mirror the image is when you are cutting heat transfer vinyl and that type we carry and sell you cut from the back. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

yes. I have had some successes and failures with it. The transfer tape will often stick to the paper and tear it. So, I use the paper transfer tape and stick it to my shirt a couple times to lighten the tack. It does take a little more fineness to pick up the vinyl, but at least then it doesn't tear the paper when I apply it.
