It's just so sad these things are over $14000 out the door with all fees. It's getting out of touch for a lot of people. I noticed when these bikes hit the floor they aren't flying out door as fast as they used to. I've bought 3 KTM FE's over the years and just can't justify it anymore. They are very cool though.

If you bought the stock bike then bought all the parts they put on and had the motor work done they did for the SR, i saw some where that it would be around $16,000+ to build it up

@@leadhead7338 Im just talking about the price in general for dirt bikes. It's working mans sport and just the cost of living now makes it hard to justify. I make over $100,000 a year and it's getting hard to be excited about new bikes due to the cost. I'll keep my 21 KX450 for awhile and just keep it up.

@@woodman4989 I make 40k a year so yeah... I’ll keep my 98 CR and my 02 YZF… I have $3500 in my bike collection and they outrun most of these wannabe riders on their shiny new machines. The only cool thing I like about new bikes is that they are fuel injected. But that shouldn’t add thousands of dollars to the price imo.

It's about time Kawasaki got rid of those couplers and put the mapping selection on the handlebars like every other bike.

Yamaha have no special edition work bike,,, just graphic,,and graphic is not a modification for up the power!!

What I heard is that Yamaha has an all new bike in 2023. Will they also join the other brands and add a works edition ? Would be really cool but no such rumors at this point.

Makes me so confused now was going to buy 23 ktm now with so many people liking the kx and being user friendly god dam ! It’s hard to pick need to ride them both im no racer just free riding hit jumps on track come off and ride trails don’t need the craziest power :/ I’ll keep thinking in my thinking chair and listening !

If you can, ask to ride a buddies. Keep in mind, the KTM is a brand new chassis with all-new technology, while it’s highly likely we will see an all-new 2023 Kawasaki in a few months.

1. Get what you like. All the bikes are good these days. These reviews come down to the very fine details. 2. If you want something for Just hitting jumps AND trail rides... Consider looking at the Cross Country Bike options these brands have; KTM XC/xcf, YZ x/xf, KX 250x or 450x, husky TX/FX Gas Gas EX, Honda RX, ranges of Bikes. They are designed to be capable on the MX track but good for the trails. A real 50/50 between an MX Bike and an Enduro Bike

And Yamaha just needs stickers

Once again the Kawi wins, I think that’s 4 years in a row now, this bike will go down in history as one of the all time greats. I’m so proud to own one and they better not make to many changes for 23😬

@@jerrstubbs439 That would be cool, but he is not signed for next year. Word is a new YZF is coming out and he wants to ride it first before he signs. He may just retire if he wins the outdoors and go into the sunset as one of the best.

Here’s the problem with these shoot outs, you say you have a winner but do not consider the maintenance whatsoever. The Kawasaki is horrendously unreliable. I know several people who have purchased Kawasaki‘s over the last few years, every single one of them has had maintenance issues and been off the bike for as long as they could to save up to pay for the repairs. Yeah, if you’re wealthy or get parts and service for free, Kawasaki is your best bet.

you see the problems from kawi only come when something other than factory is replaced or switched in the motor other than that they are great stockers

Ive only ever seen 1 Kawi give issues and that was my friends 2011 KX 250F. I had a 2009 KX250 and new many Kawi owners. Only issues have come from POOR OWNER MAINTENANCE. No Issues from the bikes themselves. I since transitioned to Yamaha then KTM as I moved more into enduro. But all the guys i know who still race MX don't have issues with their Kawis. No bikes in general today are unreliable.

2000nds.......Bikes hit too hard, too much rigidity, too much bark and pulls like a tractor; de-tune make easier to ride and increase flex. 2022 i love the stiff rigid frame and thing pull like a tractor" winner full package". What a frickin sales pitch joke to sell bike brands over others every year. Kx winner hahaha...buddy has one, exhaust fell apart, blew the complete top end under 40 hours and he does his maint.

Kawasaki's have the most horrific reliability records out of all the brands.
