What's the alternative? Time running out to rescue Iran nuclear deal • FRANCE 24 English

With #Tehran feared to be weeks away from a point of no return on #nuclear weapons, are we looking down the barrel of an arms race in the Middle East? With little optimism in the air for the current round of talks in Vienna, where might this leave the Biden administration? Does the US have the stomach for a fight? And is a fight really what's unfolding? Traditional lines in the sand seem to be out the window as the same Gulf states that are cementing new ties with Israel are also keeping channels open with Tehran. #TheDebate

Of course, this alternative is unpopular with the U.S. and the European Union, but they need to remember that it was the U.S., not Iran, that broke the deal in bad faith. Why would Iran agree to rejoin a deal with the U.S. that could break it again? I've researched and watch several video's stating the Iranian position and it's not even close to the west's interpretation of the Iranian debate. The former Iranian delegation put a number of their points in brackets and it was a draft so anyone who knows anything knows this is subject to change. It is obvious the hardline Iranian government was going to change some of the bracketed clauses that's what happens in drafts so the west's position is disingenuous. And let's face it human rights' against Iran are a complete different universe than those committed by Israel so this whole debate is lopsided.

Obama team were shaking hands with Iranian but behind the curtain they put pressure on Iran on the other side Trump wanted open fight with Iran but that is not going to work anymore Iranian are learned lessons they are not going to be a surrender toward great powers.

The US need a war they can actually win, so that counts out Iran, China and Russia. The problem the US has is its so remote from the rest of the developed world. This means if it fights a war its always playing away. This is a huge disadvatage for obvious reasons. It took a million troops and a year of planning to invade Iran, which was a duck shoot compared to the ones I've mentioned, and they're not going to sit around waiting for the US to gather its forces...

The Parsi guy is a wise man. He puts everything into perspective based on facts while that Israeli guy relies on what he feels about the ideologies. Iran is by far more reliable than the US, Israel and all the Western countries as Iran honored the deal and Iran honored the deal even 1 year after the US (due to Israeli pressure) left the deal and then after that 1 year their reduced their commitment which again was written in the deal that they can do if other partied dont follow the deal. While the US from the time the deal was signed (Obama time) did not commit to the deal and after Trump left the deal, put new sanctions on Iran for following the deal and all this time no European signatory even followed the deal.

Then again iran having less $ for hamas weapons, hezbollah weapons in lebanon, syria, houtis is also kind to all the innocent victims of those terrorist proxiez

Did you forget what the Persian ambassador said to Crassus? Or how Valerian was turned into a mounting block? Iran is rising to its rightful and natural role as the region's guarantor and hegemon.
