Pine needles and them damn twigs 🤣 the sound always sketches me out, not to mention the lone stone that makes an appearance form time to time!! That revo is a suprising little rig!

one great upgrade i found was when i needed to replace the spur gear. i went with the Robinson racing setup. it comes with a sweet slipper clutch. wow do i love it and has held strong for years now! great video!

Nice to see that you finally got the metal skid plates! I actually had to remove the shims after I installed the plates, because the differential housing was too tight with them! Greetings from Germany! Maik

Thank you for making this video. I have considered the EREVO Mini just to have something to run around in the neighborhood. The neighbors LOVE it when the Hoss and Kraton are on full blast down the street! 🤣

The mini Revo is a great vehicle. So quick and the response is incredible.

Great idea ! You may not need the slipper at all with the center. Maybe you can make a hop up under your label if there isnt one avail.

I love seeing your videos of the mini erevo it makes me wanna drive it and do crazy stuff with it 🤟🏼 I have 1/10 scale set up in it 3800kv with SW3 Castle Creations 45 spur and 35 pinion gear. I got all rpm green a arms, push rods all around and green roll cage it’s glows with the UV light !

the 100% fix = 1. Hot Racing metal Bulkhead (front/back) 2. Hot Racing helical diffs 3.T-bone chassis brace (the metal skid plates may work) 4. you may as well upgrade to the traxxas center diff (100k fluid) for significantly better control

Hey man super great vids just wondering if you’ve had any problems with the centre transmission sense most of the gears are plastic, witch is pretty stupid they should have metal upgrades for that, I know they use to make them but they don’t anymore.

1/8-1/4 turn back after tightening is recommended for the slipper clutch after center diff install

I bought a New Bright RC Ford Mustang Mach E - 1:10 Scale And the front Actuator is clicking in the front! I took it apart and either something broke off to let it come off the track or it's a terrible design flaw!! Me and my son got to drive it once before it started clicking! Lasted all of 5 mins 😡!! Your video helped me diagnosing it, but givin it's a diff car it didn't help me fix it 😢!!

Hot racing... never gona let you slip! Never gona let you grind never gona turn around and split you! In all honesty tho hr bulkheads are great cause they eliminated that... still need one for my rear dur to that ...

My problem on the was the erevo was the gears inside the rear differential

Sup. So was this on a brand new rc or an rc that developed this problem over time and usage?

How has the rear skid plate working? I just got a merv yesterday and I want to prevent this.

I have the vxl 1/16 summit and I'd like to purchase metal diff cases aswell as the Hot Racing spiral diff gears but they are pretty pricey. I will try this first along with shimming the stock rear diff. If this fails I'm gonna bite the bullet and purchase the hop up parts.

Yeah I didn’t want to pay that for those diffs.

I put 1 million in my center differential on my merv and it made it a lot more fun while still having enough give to protect the drivetrain

What spur/pinion are you running for 3S?

I was like wow they used small parts on the erevo 2.0 then I realized this was the micro

Hey my man did the clicks start out soft then get worse or just start out rather bad

I have two diff and case I keep on hand !

Ya thats a great way to keep the gears from getting off center this is good information then use real bearing grease not lithium grease and use 50k diff oil instead of 20 or 30 k thicker the better it doesnt heat up as fast

working on rc cars looks fun 😅

What about a 3S causes the issue, just too much power for those little diff gears to handle?

Yeah. Its the burst of speed. It causes the gears to force themselves apart

Ok, I just bought mine yesterday. So basically, the gear that's in there right now is not a slip dif. I have to buy one and install it correct?? Also, I watched your video on the front and rear skid plate. Will that help with the gear that's already in there? Or should I just change everything out all together? Note, I did order two 3300 Mah 50C batteries. I am not going to use them in series. Its plenty fast without doing that. I don't plan on jumping or bashing it. I just want to run it at the park normally. I would appreciate your thoughts.

Those batteries won't fit, which I'm sure you already found out the hard way

have you had any issues after those upgrades, because I just ordered myself the gpm plates

Tighten the slipper all the way tighten it down.. worse case it melts plastic gear.. no big deal and totally worth it. Slippers are only good on high traction asphalt..

Couldn't you just put the blue plate on the front to take away the flex and skip the other steps?

How are you getting yours to flip with the center diff, I can’t get mine to anymore and I have 500k diff fluid but I did it with 2s and no center diff. Could it be a battery issue?

Is your slipper too loose? Crank that baby down.

Put the high speed Pinon on the motor

Hot racing differentials and metal housings fix the issue

Amazing how Traxxas designed and engineered this incorrectly and you have to fix it. What is their R&D department doing??? Same thing with the servo for the Xmaxx and the slipper clutch for the new Tmaxx and Revo. They have all been either engineered incorrectly or there’s a problem on the Manufacturing end. When you call them all they want to do is tell you which parts you’ll need to fix it if it’s not under warranty. And their warranty period is a joke compared to Arrma. And I’m not a Traxxas hater, I have an Xmaxx, Maxx, Hoss, Rustler VXL, & 3 Tmaxx’s (original 2.5, 3.3, & a new 3.3).

I don’t think it’s designed incorrectly. It was never meant to have this much power in it is all. If they had of known we would be doing this with this little thing, they would have not made it like that.
