Watching the original scene for the first time a few years back with my wife, she told me the story behind the scene. Apparently they brought in a bunch of people off the street to play the guards, and said "If you laugh in this scene, you won't get paid for it." It made it infinitely better knowing everyone in that scene was doing their absolute best to try and contain their laughter, and the cast was just trying to push them as hard as they could.

I think it’s the constant pauses combined with how the character looks elder and talks with a more educated superior accent that makes people take him a little bit seriously in the back of their head making them feel think or even do things subconsciously. . . Here, we have someone who has caught the impostor syndrome. This is caused by overexposure to Among Us memes. Translating aspects of Among Us to real life, such as ejecting people, calling emergency meetings, etc. If you’re trying to comfort a friend or loved one with impostor syndrome, try not to do ANYTHING wrong. “Heck, people could kill my entire family and I’m forced to maniacally laugh against my will and all I can do is say ‘red sus’!” One stated. Now this may seem like harmless joke, but according to Jerma, “It all started as so innocent, I used to see something and be like, ‘Oh, that’s looks like something from Among Us! That’s a cool reference.’ But now it’s an uncontrollable insane laugh, when I look at ANYTHING- I see it.” In order to prevent Impostor Syndrome, follow these steps: DON’T look at your fingernails or toenails. DON’T look up the scientific name for pig. Try not to smile, because most people who smile have the syndrome, so this could make you look like you have it. The reason for this is because you could accidentally make the “sus” face. (Please note: This could also cause you or anyone around you to contract the virus.) Try not to look at anything red, this may activate a pattern. Discourage yourself from saying the following words, ESPECIALLY around loved ones with Impostor Syndrome. This could make recovery more difficult, and could cause you to contract the virus also. “Sus” “Meeting” “Vent” “Red” “Impostor” “Emergency” “Cams” And DO NOT say “Among Us” as this is the ultimate trigger. You may be using this in a casual conversation, so use “between us” as an alternative. *The stages that you need to be aware of:* Stage 1: Denial “Oh cool, that looks like Among Us!” Stage 2: Anger “I CAN’T TAKE IT! EVERYWHERE I LOOK IS AMOGUS!” Stage 3: Bargaining “Please stop, it’s not funny anymore.” Stage 4: Depression “I’m seriously at my limit.” Stage 5: Acceptance “Amogus” If you believe that you or a loved one are on any of these stages, call 911 for them *immediately.*
