What's Really in the "Food" at Chick-fil-A?

Фильм және анимация

In this video, I am going to break down every ingredient of the most popular foods from Chick-fil-A...
Avoid fast food garbage and eat real foods. This is why I created Lineage Provisions. Giving you real foods in the most convenient way. Check us out: lineageprovisions.com/psmdyt
Most people know fast food is bad for you. But I want to expose exactly what is wrong here and why it’s harmful…
It’s no surprise that over 70% of Americans are obese and overweight when over 60% of our calories come from ultra-processed foods like these…
The ingredient list of Chick-fil-A’s foods is proof that not all calories will have the same metabolic effects in humans…
The seed oils, synthetic additives, and preservatives in these foods impact our hormones and metabolic functions negatively, making it harder for our bodies to produce energy and function properly…
This leads to constant hunger, overeating, low energy, poor hormonal health, and, ultimately, weight gain…
Humans aren’t meant to consume these processed foods…
Our health and well-being depend on many essential nutrients exclusively found in animal foods…
Meat, organs, eggs, fruit, honey, and raw dairy are the most nutrient-dense foods for humans…
These foods allowed us to thrive and evolve for hundreds of thousands of years…
It's easy to find quality animal-based foods almost anywhere...
It's always meat / organs / fruit / honey / raw dairy…
This is an ANIMAL-BASED diet, and I believe this is the most optimal diet for humans on the planet...
Check out my ANIMAL-BASED CALCULATOR here: www.paulsaladinomd.co/ab-guide#calculator

My Dad was a body builder in the 60s when I was a kid. He was kind of a health food nut so we always had an organic garden, grass fed beef, only honey or raw sugar, no processed flour. I remember him teaching me to read bread labels and he said that "if it has more than 5 ingredients or there are any ingredients with names you can't pronounce put it back".

I lived in southern India for 3 years. I spent time on a spice plantation which was amazing. The owner drove me to a place where they've clear-cut and planted palm oil trees. He said it is all exported to The States. I asked him why and he said that "palm oil is toxic" and not allowed in Indian food. My fellow Americans, it's time to wake up and understand that you are part of an experiment.

Now that I'm back in CA, I still bake my muffins (usually only 6 - 8 ingredients like organic flour, butter, eggs, raw sugar or honey, vanilla, blueberries, and nuts) and almost never eat fast food. But if you were to go to the MRI imaging place yourself and pay cash, you can get it done for under $400. The capital letter "A" in Chick-fil-A stands for "Grade A" and top quality. The name was chosen by founder S. Truett Cathy to reflect his commitment to using the best ingredients for his chicken sandwiches. The "Chick" in the name refers to the juicy chicken, and "fil-A" is a play on the word "filet" with the "et" replaced by an "A" to represent the quality of the chicken. When the first Chick-fil-A opened in Atlanta in 1967, it was originally called Chick-Fill-a with a lowercase "a".

I was a dishwasher for 3 years at a Chick-fil-A, the pans with the spicy chicken juices would cause Rashes on my arms. The mini chicken - biscuit would start to have a different bad taste if under the heat lamp more than 15 minutes, the chocolate chip cookies would go from good to terrible within 2-3 days. We definitely had to throw away a lot of food because of loss of flavor. I never understood why people think Chick-fil-A is better than other places. It couldn't be because it's product or ingredients. I took my own lunch from home after eating there's & the weird taste difference 's.

So the so called healthy diet. Was not eating out. Didn't have the money for it. I switched to the old 1950s British diet in the prologue of Good Calories, Bad Calories 15 years ago. Removed the seed oils. Lost the weight, no starvation involved. Cleared up so many health issues. Size 6/8. 4/6 in USA sizes. 22 body fat percentage. Worked at Cane's and the chicken would come in boxes with farm-esque labelling. Main thing is that they were just straight breast cuts with like blood and sinew and shit - I can't really see any additives being in the chicken itself but at the end of the day, corporate greed and malintent gets its way, so who knows. As for the breading, there was pre-mixed bags of flour, and we would use pre-scrambled eggs (the ones that come in cardboard cartons that they sell in Whole Foods type stores) so that's another potential source of hidden slop. Honestly, as far as Cane's goes, they seemed pretty healthy relative to the rest of the fast food world. We surprisingly made most things in-house (e.g. the sauce, us mixing whatever proprietary ratio of ketchup, mustard, vinegar, etc.) and food was kept on very frequent rotations - new shipments every morning - given the high churn rate of incoming customers. Corporate also clearly kept regulations pretty strict, reflected on the front end either how-I'd argue-it rivals or even beats out Chick-fil-A among the fast food places with renowned "good service."

Much respect to Dr. Paul and his honest content. It's not easy to speak the truth when it comes to our poor dietary habits especially given the level of cognitive dissonance in many consumers when it comes to this sensitive issue. Considering the explosion in cancer, diabetes, heart disease and other health related ailments that has contributed to the premature death of countless people in this country over the past few decades, I think it's quite reasonable to ask how much of a role our regular fast-food consumption has had in all this, and the level of accountability these companies should have for not being completely transparent while essentially misleading consumers and selling products full of unhealthy, and in many cases, addictive ingredients. Just another shameful example of companies putting profit over their consumers' health and well-being

I eat as much as I can, and yet I struggle NOT to lose weight. I am built stocky, so most people think I am working out hard. The funny thing is, I put almost no effort into looking good, and yet most people at the gym will not achieve my physique. This is all thanks to the advice of Paul Saladino. I wish more people were open-minded about learning what goes into their food. Once you figure it out, your health will improve vastly. Thank you Paul! You are a treasure to this planet))

How the hell can these corporations be adding all this crap in without extra cost? Well, the term "additives" is misleading. They're not really "adding" anything. They're just substituting for cheaper ingredients. By adding 16% water to their chicken, that's 16% less chicken they have to add to each patty which saves them a ton of money. And yes, some ingredients and there just to keep us addicted. So either way, they're maxing profits in any way possible even if that means compromising the health of the consumers. I'm sure they even receive some funding from Pharma 💸
