Whoa! I really need to take advantage of shortcuts. I knew they were an option, but your video really showed how powerful they can be to save time. Love the "get on-screen content" feature. Amazing.

Personally, i just feel the iPad could do so much more if apple will allow it. I particularly want the Files app to be more comprehensive.

Totally agree. I have been using iPad Pros since 2017, and currently use the 2021 12.9, I capable and enjoyable as it is, I just believe Apple wants it to be exactly what it is, very capable, but still short because they want us to use both Mac and iPad.

100% agree. I would love to be able to create and run my web development projects on iPad. Even the base Apple is able to do this, but Apple just wants to buy the MacBook

@@Wiztev09 they can do it, but they don’t want to. The key word is “want”. They can do everything they want to. Agree with you about that fact about lineup. The key is to sell more products, each product for a specific usage.

No one talks about Synology NAS integration with an iPad work flow. PLEASE make this! I’m still new to NAS and I only use iPad for all my work and video editing. I have so many questions about LumaFusion integration or the best way to setup the NAS or the best NAS apps for the iPad. This video is very needed. Thank you man! Love your work, been a fan for a year or so now

Chris, Another excellent video! Thank you for sharing all of your workflow and apps. ❓ A while back you shared a shortcut where you could put a bunch of appointments in to fantastical but it no longer works. I was wondering if you still use one like that and if so if you could share it. For example I have 7-10 days worth of appts to put in with the different info and times etc. It used to work like a charm but it hasn’t worked for a few months. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. Jaime

Love the idea of the short videos of Apple products. And love that you’re still using the iPad Pro for some video editing! I’m a current 2021 12.9 iPad Pro user, and for me, I use Notability every day all day (medical student), Music App, Messages, Outlook for email. I have found that the combination of Magic Keyboard, Apple Pencil, and the 12.9” canvas, my iPad Pro is my favorite overall device ever. It’s a do-it-all device which is what brought me to your channel.

Hi Chris, been following you for a long time. Great content. Chris is there a way I can build a Shortcut that I can use to tell me the size of a Folder in File Management? Hi Chris, I am planning on buying the Huawei MateView Display to use with my 11" iPad Pro because this has a 3:2 aspect ratio which means that I don't get black bars at the sides. My question to you would be, if I can use the iPad in clamshell mode inside the Magic Keyboard, just like on the MacBook? So does it work exactly like that, besides Face ID? Thanks in advance!

Hey everyone, I love these videos. I spend so much time organising myself and trying to get into a seamless workflow. With that being said, I have a question about homescreens. Since there is a limitation to the amount of Focus modes, is there a way to set a specific homescreen without using a Focus Mode? For example, I may have meetings with a company weekly. So, I have a shortcut setup for it, including a homescreen. I have yet to discover a shortcut command to go to that homescreen. But I would love to include going to that homescreen into that shortcut. Has anyone come across that issue and find a solution?

How were you able to get the calculator app to open in slideover? I made the same exact shortcut as you and it works when I press on it in the Shortcuts app. However, when I made put the shortcut as an app on the home screen or dock it won’t work when I click on it. Tried it with other apps already open and with none open. I’ve seen other posts on Reddit with the same issue.

My main mobile computer for phone and photo editing is the iPad Pro 12 inch with M1 and Magic Keyboard, but I'm a bit disappointed by the use of cpu-power.

Another excellent video :) One query - using your idea for P Calc and the Shortcuts app. I’ve done that (and also downloaded your version just in case), but whenever I’ve added the shortcut to the home screen, the app opens in full screen. Within Shortcuts, the app opens as it should in slide over. I must be doing something wrong - help!
