A good example of the knowable precurser race was in the Jak and Daxter series Spoilers Daxter was turned into one, and the whole reveal was like the Wizard in The Wizard of Oz.

Here's some XIV lore you can hit Colton with that's only in the lorebooks (it's also my favourite thing to tell people about the lore): The Dunesfolk Lalafells micro-dose their babies with poison that they brew into a tea so that the baby will grow an immunity to the poison so they can eventually survive in Thanalan cause there are GIANT ANTS AND SCORPIONS ALL OVER THE PLACE!

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. A different pair of players should play each campaign for RE6 Also, for story tropes, I immensely hate anytime a character gets mad at someone for retaliating. "Sure, I just tried to put you in the ground, but how dare you try to stab me!" My hatred of this trope lead me to love its opposite of "I have hurt you greatly, and I will not hold it against you if and when you come looking for revenge." Shout out to Kill Bill and Afro Samurai for having characters who absolutely ruin some kid's world and then give them permission to come after them for it.

Having played both the originals and remakes of RE2 and RE3:Nemesis I'd say just go play the original RE3:Nemesis if you have to pick one. The remake was visually very pretty but overall pretty bad for the story itself, they made it feel more like a recap of all the key parts rather than a full game, which is a shame because the remake for RE2 was very well done.

May i suggest playing 5 multi-player for the remake. Because the ai is awful without having someone else with you.
