It is about time someone did a view of the Sweeps. Great job!!!!!
Great wheels and tires. Had the street wheels on my truggy. They lasted forever and do not balloon. The rims are solid and never cracked or chipped at all.
Yep, have had a few sets of these. Work great for speed runs
Can't wait for that technology in my 2wd buggy, wheeler, and stadium truck. Running slicks
I have a couple sets of these tires and they work great
Looks sick on the Senton! Hmm maybe next purchase
A main rocks 🤙🏻
🤔🤔molto interessante finalmente basta ballooning!sempre novità nei tuoi video davvero ben fatto
Sold. Picking some up.
I run the terrain crushers on my kyosho inferno ST, really like them
Thanks for the education about those tires.
Love your videos Brett!!! ...and love buying from you guys... Would love to hear more about how the Senton handled... Did it raise the CG a bit too much for good cornering? Would a Senton equipped w/ these tires do well at the skate park?

@@AMain_Hobbies ...thank you!! I was looking for something to give me a little more hook-up at the park... I think these will fit the bill! I also have the Kraton and Notorious that will also get to play with these as well! ...now just gotta save my pennies...
Good tires
That tires are fits on eb48.4 too😂
Cool.
They are great I have them on my 1/8 Traxxas E Revo
These are sick!..I'm sure pricey too lol

@growlingbehemoth When doing stunts you want tires to balloon though..More rotating mass
that senton was funny also do they make a senton 6s
I need these for the Sledge
Hey Brett 👍🏻 Do they come in different compounds ? I’m liking the size of these compared to the GRP’s I’ve been using at the track. Tower just beat u in delivery time on my last order 😁 only by two days Cheers 😜

Just kidding around Butternut Squanch. I live in Australia so delivery times vairy heaps 👍🏻👍🏻
Will it fit on my JLB 11101 or my JLB 21101? Love these belted tires. Hoping to get some "IF" they fit properly. Thanks.
Terrain Crushers r more my style of the two for my Kraton
just ordered a set of terrain crushers for my mojave!

I have a set of terrain crushers and they do not come balanced but more balanced then pro line for sure.

Awh shoot, really? Are they ballooning, or they have a wobble? -Brett
@stuart3712

@@AMain_Hobbies I used my hand balancer and the SMC tires seems to not wobble but some puddy and 2 penny's was not enough for the one tire. Used all my puddy on my Prolines and many pennys =(. Also the SMC terrain crushers are not ballooning unless you are asking about my proline trenchers 40 series? If so i use fishing line on them but i like them more then my Terrain crushers even tho i do not jump my Kraton.
Sweeps also fit the Arrma Talion

Good tip! -Brett
Wonder if they will clear the steering links on the udr?
Do they make a little smaller for the Senton BLX 3s in off road version ? If so how much and can I order them from Amain?
Hello AMain Hobbies, Thank you for this Review of the Sweep Road Crushers ! Do you notice any WOBBLE of the Wheels when mounted on an RC model ? I am asking cause I have the Terrain Crushers, and they do not spin exactly strait when testing my E-Revo Brushless on Blocks. I supposed it was NORMAL to get some Wobbling, since this is not made for precision to the 1/32 of a inch close... What do you think ?
@AMain_Hobbies
5 жыл бұрын
We didn't have any noticeable wobble but it may be your axle. Change to another tire and try that. It may also be possible the tire needs to be balanced with some putty or a little weight. Here is a good video on tire balancing: kzread.info/dash/bejne/Z46supuigMywZ84.html Hope that helps! -Brett
i'm just dying to see a suspension drop with the sweep tires
you turned the RC into a DONK
You should try those tires on the traxxas rustler 4x4 vxl
@AMain_Hobbies
4 жыл бұрын
We tried but these wheels are 17mm hex, and the Rustler is only 12mm so it didn't work. The Pro-Line 2.8" Trencher HP Belted tires fit though. -Brett
Any chance Sweeps makes a belted street tire thatll fit a slash?in process of building a 6s slash to hopefully put me to or over the 100mph mark so looking for something for high speed runs other then the jaco foams that most are running on the slash and rustlers.

Not sweep, but GRP and Pro-Line have some 1/8 buggy sized belted on-road tires that would work great if you have 17mm hexes. Pro-Line Avenger HP: www.amainhobbies.com/proline-avenger-hp-belted-premounted-1-8-buggy-tires-2-black-s3-pro9069-243/p1148831?v=1058134 GRP TO1 Treaded: www.amainhobbies.com/grp-gt-to1-revo-belted-premounted-1-8-buggy-tires-black-2-s1-grpgtx01-s1/p944887?v=944888 GRP TO2 Slicks: www.amainhobbies.com/grp-gt-to2-slick-belted-premounted-1-8-buggy-tires-black-2-s1-grpgtx02-s1/p944891?v=944892 Haven't used the Pro-Lines, although i'm sure they are great. But we have used the GRP and they are fantastic tires and highly recommended. -Brett
i was wondering how well proline trenchers 2.8 go with senton 6s
@AMain_Hobbies
5 жыл бұрын
We tried a set and they didn't fit. It was the premounts with Desperado wheels and a 17mm hex. Unfortunately, the inside of the wheel is not big enough to fit the Senton steering hub, so the wheel just rubs and conflicts with parts. The Senton (and all BLX 6S models) require at least a 1/8 buggy sized wheel for hub clearance. -Brett
Do a drift rc build
Just bought a set of this.. Do I need to vent it so it will last longer? I'm only planning to use this on road. And, I'm not sure how to vent belted tires.
@AMain_Hobbies
3 жыл бұрын
No, the inside of the wheel should already be vented with two little holes, which should be adequate. If you plan on driving in water though, add some duct tape to those little holes to cover them up, preventing water from getting in. @@AMain_Hobbies thanks man.. really helpful!
Ordered TWO to check them out. They are considerably larger in both outside circumference(OD) and width(footprint) than OEM Rustler tires. You'll need to gear 'DOWN' your Rustler or you'll be burning out motors. I tried to get my money back and Pro-line said it was MY FAULT for not knowing that ALL Pro-line tires come a bit larger than OEM and that I should have read the ad closer. (actual size data is NOT in any of their ads) The CSR then said they would not do ANYTHING until I first cancel my Paypal dispute. I queried further and found all they would do is give me 'Credit. I will NEVER buy another Pro-line product now learning how wretchedly dishonest they advertise and run their business.
@AMain_Hobbies
5 жыл бұрын
These tires are made by Sweep, not Pro-Line. And you're right, these tires are way bigger than a Rustler tire; how did you get them to fit? -Brett
Anybody think this would fit a traxxas rustler or give me some belted tires to look at for the car?
I wish they were a little narrower
Would these work on an X-Maxx? I need something more resistant to my dogs trying to tear them apart!
@AMain_Hobbies
4 жыл бұрын
I believe so, as long as the X-Maxx uses a 17mm hex. I think it does too. These tires are smaller in diameter than the X-Maxx tires. -Brett
These are basically for looks or normal driving. They can't really handle anything extreme like high speed runs or big jumps. If you do buy them, get the terrain crushers imo.

@growlingbehemoth i have the xmaxx 6&8s both are fast i also have a mojave... 8s with a maxx5 esc its a beast i also have a CEN racing collosus. all electric. no way you can compare quality of redcat to traxxas. the raminator is grossly overpriced the same with the FG. i stopped playing with gas over 20yrs. ago but did buy a 1/5 scale 36cc rovan powered desert buggy last year just to make some noise. i also have the 1/5 scale dbxle 2.0 it will run circles around just about anything that will try to run with it in the dirt. i also have 1/8 &1/7 scale speed run cars all do well over 115mph. all of this hobby is a matter of preference style size and power for what ever individual driving you do. i know RC! i have been in this hobby for over 50yrs. not sure what your point or rant is but your the one sounding like a cunt...

They are not bashing tires so im unsure what you are talking about. You mean from torq and wear and tear? Also, you mean the rims crack or the rubber? If you mean the rubber, well... you need to take care of them like you would real car tires. Buy turtle wax or some RC version to prevent the rubber from cracking.

@@stuart3712 If you're talking to me, I meant the rubber has split on a brand new wheel going maybe over 50mph. You're right though. They aren't for bashing.
