We will take a look at the latest and the greatest investments Microsoft has made into Azure SQL Managed Instance! Azure SQL MI is the cloud service that provides the best migration path for existing SQL Server on-premises deployments into Azure PaaS.
In this session, we will review the most recent improvements made over the last 12 months and dive a little deeper into these capabilities. So join us to understand why you should be using SQL Managed Instance!
Speaker Bio:
Niko Neugebauer is a Senior Program Manager for SQLMI at Microsoft. In his previous roles spanning over 20 years, he has helped customers successfully build, migrate and optimize Microsoft Data solutions in OLTP & OLAP markets.
Niko is a community leader and has been leading the Portuguese Data Platform User Group for over 11 years having first organized the very first international SQLSaturday (\#78 Lisbon).
He is a regular speaker at major events, such as SQLBits, PASS Summit, etc.
