Great! Thank you very much for your work!
Amazing is the only possible word to this. But now we need another type of hardware to enjoy AR. Preferably a wereable. Smartphones are not the most comfortable (or safest, because aren't unobtrusive at all) to move around on environment like a window. Follow AR from your smartphone on urban environment is dangerous at many ways. I miss Google Glass effort...
I/O's video transitions are pretty cringe, and the some presenter is really stressed and robotic as a result. I know we're Engineers, more than entertainers. Don't be shy. We all learn. Looks pretty good. What feels wrong is the drop of Daydreams which started having some cool apps like using a Cardboard + Phone as VR headset for Steam. Pushing AR and droppping some tech is standard but gives mixed messaging regarding Google's long term support. Let's see what people make with this. So far Google Maps is the best and more useful AR I've seen so far. With depths, a 3D scanner may have even more adoption than pure AR.
Thanks for sharing
My device is listed in supported device. But in Google play My device is not supported 🤔
AR for Argentina?

Hey @googledevelopers, Be careful what you invent. You're making technology that is going to make the next generation disconnected from reality. The goal of technology is to help humanity, you develop this in a very narrow-sighted tech bubble where your perspectives on reality are highly skewed. Technology design should be almost invisible. At least can you incorporate a totally minimalistic approach to AR so we don't have to live in a dystopian reality thank you.
Why does it feel not impressive at all except for the long range depth? Oh wait yeah all the other features are already existed in ARKit...
Why should developers invest money, time and effort into Google AR after you silently axed Google Tango the moment it became productive and developers had just purchased the 2 phones that hit the consumer market and started developing for it? Making all that investment an expensive door stop and wasted month of work. Without even a word just silently no longer updating or supporting anything.

Google is great, but they always kill their products. Very sad. Maybe need more testing before release.

Yeah I actually jumped ship to Apple because of how flaky/untrustworthy Google is. Google has a well established history of abandoning projects
Still just a gimmick.
