I think we would definitely go with KIA if we had this option when we got our Raize. The stonic was enough to be an option for an everyday school car but ig this is much better than the Raize we have. Great First look video Sir! 🏹💚

Sunroof is a problem waiting to happen. Look it up on vehicles with sunroof, overtime it will be the cause of water leaks and increase heat in the interior.

Nice and easy to maneuver because of its size.. Love it!

Akala ko 1.2L yung manual na entry level. Ganun kasi sa ibang bansa. Kudos to Kia PH. Galing. Ganda sana kung option yung retractable sunroof. Or dual clinate control. Kahit na walang mags.

I AGREE, unlike the other 2 known car reviewers, one is bias to toyota and the other is bias to Ford. Regardless of the segment both of them are always in favor of the brand they like. And you can always notice it! Sounds like paid. Kudos to AI for always being honest and fair on their reviews!

Hopefully we can get the fuel consumption figures soon. Solid review as always Sir Vince.

Saw one in our subdivision the other day and man this car looks good all over especially the front end! It's practical when it comes to its dimension and price. Plus the ground clearance! Beats the Raize by far. Ang panalo lang ng Raize is the badge.

@@lockyofficial21He has the indian spec of the sonet, a 1.2 turbo petrol 3 cylinder engine. The Philippines gets the 1.5 engine, the same engine that the stargazer and creta has.

The version Hyundai/Kia uses in this Sonet is dual port injection for more optimal air/fuel mix and efficiency. They have a version that is port + direct to chamber (similar to D4S) but not in this vehicle.

thats a horrible idea,they did something similar with the Creta in other markets and it is the worst 7 seat MPV in the market. it has the worst space in the third row,the worst cargo space and it gets paired with the worst performing and most thirsty 2l NA engine.

If Kia brought in the Sonet, Hyundai Exter, Nissan Magnite, Suzuki Hustler, and Honda WR-V should brought here in the Philippines to challenge Toyota Raize, Geely GX3 Pro, and Chery Tiggo 2.

What will happen to the Stonic? No more next gen?

Haha hangang ngayon yan parin ang tanong.. Advice lang, its not always the displacement, learn about torque figures and power to weight ratio, that is always given, you can compare it to what you own.

is kia a reliable brand? looking for a first car and i really like the honda wrv but it might not come here so the brv is an option

Yes it is. There's so much misconceptions on Korean car brands.

Good beginner car. Compact cross overs, 1.5L engine is enough to propel these small car and no need for 360 camera just small car other complains.

To anyone considering this car,dont ,its the most expensive and least value centric of its class. Firstly its saddled with the thirtsy engine from the Creta and the ivt which cracks under pressure. The trunk space for the class is woefully small(even the Raize does more with less). The feature set for the price is lacking as well,most glaring is that you only get two airbags,even on the top spec. Better alternatives to the car right now are the Gac GS3 Emzoom and the Raize,both have much better equipment at a much better price,hell the GAC is technically in this class but in reality its roughly the same size as a Creta,so its essentially a Seltos Sized car priced as a sub 4m crossover. Or you could wait until Suzuki Philippines sucessfully removes thier head from their ass and brings in the Fronx which if priced as it should be it will beat the Raize handily on that front. Finally isf Kia was serious about this car they would have ditched ADAS and added more airbags,that alone would bring the price down.

Haters of china made cars maybe disappointed if they learn that this car is made in china😊

Made in China is way different from Manufactured in China, iPhone is made in China too however it's American brand and so is KIA which is a Korean brand
