I totally agree. I once wanted a big thing to happen and went through a lot of anxiety BUT it didn't happen. I remember very much stopping and deciding this: if its meant to happen, then it will, even if ALL doors are currently shut. Three months later, a door opened and I pursued it and guess what: It happened,,,, and with the least effort ever. So, Thank you for sharing and YOU ARE RIGHT

I really needed to hear this bcs there was a situation that happened a while back and it bothers, frustrates, and stresses me out so much and I hate that it still effects me and that it lingers in my head everyday. If misfortune finds me, I may not like it at first, but it was probably meant for me to grow. It seems that difficulties provide me with the opportunity to make a decision about what to do next. And, depending on the choice, the next step could eventually help me and could assist others for the better. It's not easy to accept defeat or disappointments initially, but if I shift my perspective to the bigger picture, I can start to be at peace, and deal with the situation(s) at hand more effectively.

I received money back from the government which they charged me 4 years back but didn't want to return although it was wrongly charged.. 4 yrs later they started sending me messages and emails and letters that please call us for refund.. when I called, they said that they lost the court case which was filed by someone other community members and so returned the money.

So.. if I want something and I am not getting it, what does it mean? That is is not meant for me? For example: it I want to be in a good relationship and it is not happening, is it because this is not meant to be for me? Or: if I want to own a house and all I can afford is a rental tiny flat, does it mean that the house is not meant for me? I understand the overall concept of allowing vs pushing things, but I am a bit "allergic" to "what is meant for me" because there are some moments in my life when I wonder: what the hell is meant for me? What about when you were very naive and let people deceive you and that's why you suffered losses and you don’t forgive yourself because of such ingenuity?

That's blatantly false. I rejected the man I truly loved and wanted to be with, because I deserved better. Now, God has lead me to a different man who is now my husband and I will not leave him, even if he dies. As for the ex, the last I heard he had had a child out of wedlock with another woman and was willing to leave them for me... :( I feel sorry for that woman and his child even more than I feel sorry for him. I know what its like to be almost abandoned by your father, and that is a cruel thing to do. I hope that ex went back to the mother of his child and tried to make things work... otherwise, that's his loss. In my case, I was not afraid of him, yet I still rejected him despite loving him. Sometimes, that DOES happen in life, and if they did it civily, then at least they treated you with the respect to do so. God lead me to reject the man meant for me, and instead He blessed me with a new better man who is now my husband.

I know this sounds fluffy and nice but I think its doing more disadvantage to people. I found my current job only after applying at least 100 times (its not even a joke) and I enjoy it.
