Hi friend. The "ANT2" solder points at PCB front, could be for a second antenna?

Unbelievable all-in-one solution at an extremely low price! Things that impress me are: friendly UI, easy to use button, fast-forwarding play, surprisingly awesome audio quality and so many modes. Things that are not so good include, poor AM and SW receiving capability. Perhaps it's due to my geo-location.

AM is very bad.

This radio is also available from Raddy as the RF-30. The HanRongDa K-603 records at a much higher sound level of 320 in its mp3 player as compared to the V-115's 128! SW sensitivity in the HanRongDa K-603 is much better than the Retekess V-115.

You input Frequency 108 136 You will get radio broadcasts from communications ATC Aircraft

That tiny ferrite antenna isn't going to pick up weak signals very well!

thats also a retekess v115 you can get better performance buy insulating some of the chips, i put thermal tape over them to reduce interference from my monitors

Should have known that before, got rid of my V115 because of the horrible self-made RF by the radio even on FM

Thanks v much for this. I am an RF engineer and enjoying seeing what's inside. Appreciate the effort! I think it is a cool radio, but I just do not like the BL-5C batteries. They don't last, and I much prefer the common AAs.

The HanRongDa K-603 is a much better SW receiver than the Retekess V-115 as I own both radios!

Very good video. What is the Sony cassette recorder app at 2:31 ? It's cool with the VU meters! Great tear down of the radio at 3:12 . But what were you trying to show to us?

It should have bluetooth transmitter for use with a larger bluetooth speaker. The rechargeable battery is good.
