It's rare to find the 20 rupee coin. If you are not careful, you might mistake it for a 10 rupee coin which is almost the same dimension but lighter. Your videos never fail to provide value. Great job! @eyevorytowermedia

These coins are stuck with with shop keepers and banks. Even though RBI has announced it is still a legal tender, shopkeepers do not want to take it. They still think there are fake coins in the market. People also didn’t make it an issue because it’s not a useable coin in day to day life as we already have Rs.20 note. With the regular use of UPI, we might stop using the notes too.

​@@krishnam3137​ there is some high tendency to hoard coins, and use them similar to private currency by the large sellers. The same issue with ₹10 coins as well. The merchants and traders use them within themselves for commodity exchange but would not accept it from public. I have personally observed this. Btw., this is from Tamilnadu. I assume there is also some conspiracy theory that by hoarding and smelting them into metal pellets for machinery parts with their value increased. But i am not sure of these conspiracies

Yes but very rare. I'm heavily involved in grocery business and I have just 2 of them. 1st coin i got was I'm October 2021 and the next was around June 2022. So even between the 2 coins I had to wait a lot. And i haven't got another one since June 2022 I've stored then in case they become collectibles lol

The first time i had a ₹20 coin given to me i was really suspicious if it was actually a coin in use. The first thought that came to me that time was " Is this coin one from the 19s that is not in use anymore? "
