I *love* the path down into the mines. It's reminding me of dungeons from some of my favorite RPGs, where you descend linearly through a series of platforms (and fight monsters on the way) before getting to the Big Boss at the bottom. You captured that effect perfectly, and I can't wait to see the Eldritch Horror that the greedy humans have awoken. Also: very much love to the memorial for Gluestick and Drumstick. Long may their spirits prance.

Specifically for creepy builds like this I kinda wish there was a lantern sized copper bulb where it would still do the "gets darker as more weathered" thingy. I think that would fit in great for this, still provides light but steadily gets dimmer, the lanterns would look all corroded. Also fully agree with adding some soul lanterns as you go down for the color shift. The creepy hole is amazing and I had a similar reaction as Grian when I saw it in his video when you said it wasn't an explosion. The time lapse was immensely satisfying to watch.

All caught up on videos now! :) Just want to say that I absolutely love your talent for telling stories through Minecraft builds and armor stands. So often we hear people say they are bored in Minecraft or simply don't know what to do next. Having a story behind a build makes so much difference. Most people can build a simple log cabin. However, if that log cabin is where a villager lives, an eyepatch over one eye, and the legend is whomever ventures near that cabin mysteriously disappears, it isn't "just" a cabin anymore. Maybe there are random patches of "fresh" dirt scattered behind the cabin, moody lighting like you did in your mine, etc. My point is, you are quite successful in telling these stories and I love it. I do have a personal hope, although I doubt it will become a reality. I am hoping your monster is Fifi from Tango in Season 8. lol No matter what it is, I have zero doubt it will be beyond fantastic. :) Love your face. :)
