In my experience (and my friends'), never really had anyone attempt to steal any of the pins, badges and keychains i hang on any of my bags. The main issue is the possibility of your stuff getting caught on something and getting pulled off your bag. Tho i dont know if it would be the same for environments full of kids (ie. grade school) cuz jealous kids can be a menace.

Awh sadly its not very lasting if you don’t take very good care of it :( The pins break easy and the zipper fell off for me so I have a tip, pull black the cover thing away from the zipper so it won’t get stuck and break. Also, don’t lean on the pins or they snap off and leave a dent in the bag’s fabric. Just be careful!! Also, it can stuffs doesn’t break. And its VERY comfortable, the fabric beneath the sleeves doesn’t rub on your shoulder. Just be careful with it !!
