Also, have you ever tried pan frying the quinoa? You might like it that way. You can dry fry it until it pops and then use as a topping for other dishes.

Love it! Most pantry organization videos I've found are not apartments and I'm so glad I came across your video. My cabinets are not like yours, but this still gives me inspiration on how to organize mine. I have some Oxo pop containers and I love them so Ill have to see if i can get them in my cabinet and free my countertop.

I adore you and the videos you put out. I would LOVE to see a risotto tutorial. I've never made it, but would love to give it a try! If you uploaded a few more cooking videos, I would be very interested in those, also. I LOVE that tomato paste. It's always in my fridge! I almost panicked when the video ended and The Bean hadn't made an appearance.

Hmmm. I’m not familiar with the short grain brown rice. I’ll have to give it a try and I love Basmati rice. Your husband’s palette is quite extensive. My husband can be a picky at times. You really have some interesting things in your pantry. I love garbanzo beans in chili. Cannellini means... hmmm.will they mashed. You got a recipe? Your pantry was very interesting. You have some unusual foods.

I cook basmati rice all the time. I can eat it everyday. Everyday!!!! Wild rice is another favorite. Your pantry is an inspiration. I don't have a formal pantry either. I use a cube setup against a wall in my dining room. AND I'm a totally OXO Pop-Up canister fan also. Great video. Thanks for sharing. BTW, you look very good in red. The color absolutely suits you. 💖

Just found your videos! I like trying new foods foods and you gave me a whole list to try. Here in New Orleans it’s mostly white rice and kidney beans. I did discover quinoa and I love it. I think your videos will be my binge watch this weekend. PS I see you were rocking that Sweet Baby Ray!

Awesome setup and collection of ingredients. I do a lot of canning jar storage ( both to can and dry storage). My labeling system uses paint markers because nail polish remover erases the dried on paint marker making it easy to change the jar label. Have not tried farro yet. Recently bought wheat berries for salads but have not cooked them yet either. Have to try the mashed canneli beans recipe you suggested...maybe a video on it the next time you make it? Thanks for taking this foodie on a tour of your pantry 😊🍝🍜

I meant to add that on my Thrive life consultant website you can get tomato powder that is just freeze dried tomatoes. It can remain on your shelf for 25 years unopened or shelf stable for a year after being opened. The tomato powder is excellent as tomato paste to thicken or the start of a sauce. Feeling inspired to work on my pantry, I've been threatening to do it for a while LOL. I have a difficult time not keeping a lot of 'one day' foods (one day I'll make such and such, so I need to keep this item for that, you know what I mean?). I try to eat low carb, but I just have to say that the best risotto/best dish I have ever tasted was in a bistro near the catacombs in Paris. It was a truffle risotto and it was heavenly.

Some of the shelves that the dishes are on are lined with plast-o-mat, but I haven't lined the others with anything. I thought about it when I moved in and never followed through LOL

I laughed when you said you and your husband are trying to live forever. This is what my husband and I say, too. We've gone vegetarian/vegan 6 days out of the week. It's mostly easy, but I definitely have moments where I want junk and haven't completely removed it from my life.
