So I'm sitting here letting KZread automatically play Delfonics pouch videos while I sew... You'll never guess what I'm sewing right now lol! Can't wait to see what yours turns out like and if our process was similar.
Wow, great job! It’s beautiful!
You did such a fantastic job! I would totally buy that! Nice video, thanks for sharing.
Absolutely stunning pouch.
Oh, this came out so great! 😊
Stunning I have two but yours is soooooo much better very well done 😁
This so awesome !!! You did awesome. Love the color combo. You go girl !!!
Wow you did an excellent job in making your pouch. Love the inside fabric.
🌟WOW🌟 You did a great job on that!
Awesome handmade pouch.👍 Love it😍
Congrats! Your pouch is beautiful! I love it!
Very nice and precious. Love it. Enjoy your next trip 🚅✈⛵🚀
Beautiful pouch! Nice job.
You did an amazing job!!!! It’s beautiful!!
This is amazing!! I might make one of my own too! Thanks for the inspiration! 💜
OMG!!!!! You did such an awesome job! I love it!!!!!
Wonderful job!
Great job. Definitely going to make one myself too. So much cuter !!
Oh dear!!💕🌼👌🏻🌸 it is sooooo beautiful!!!!! Bravo!!!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Beautiful work!!!
Your pouch is perfection - I love the vintage vibe and it inspires me to pull out my sewing machine to try my hand at one. :o)
So pretty!!
Well done!
that’s pretty cool that you made your own and it looks beautiful 🥰
Wow I wish I knew how to sew. I love that. It’s so cutesie.
This is precious and you'd be proud, this is very close to the real one. I have one and i love it. I bought it last year and i think it's so useful. Handmade sometimes is much more valuable. 🌸
Never thought to do this!! I've made pouches and tote bags before and would so make a faux Delfonics! The material options are endless! Received my spring kit a few days ago..thanks👍🏼

😊 Definitely make one for yourself! I'm in this kick of if I can make it, I won't buy it, especially if I really can't afford to treat myself to something. And it was so fun trying to figure out how to put it all together!
I really like your pouch!
great job!!!
😱 beautiful pouch, I would buy one from you.
Impressive! I don’t know how you made it but it feels amazing to me! I don’t think I could ever make it like this!
You did a very good job at making this
I have this type of case and love it for my planner stuff. The case you made is beautiful! Love fabric.com too 💗
I love how it came out. If the threads get to be too much, you could always cover the edges with bias tape - a pale pink like the zipper would be a nice pop of color. And the term you were looking for was "interfacing"... though a thin batting would also work. I already have a long sewing project list... and you just inspired me to add yet another project... or two. =g=
Hi! You did a great job! I came over from Nazy's channel and subscribed. This pouch is fabulous! Thank you for sharing. xxLynn

Hi Lynn!! Thank you so much!
Looove this!!! Please do share or sell a pattern. Love the inside fabric too!
I would totally buy one of these bags from you. You did a really good job. I had thought if I knew how to sew I would just make myself one of these. Like you, I just can't justify the price they charge for them. Good on you. Very pretty. TYFS
Your bag is fantastic!

@@TiffanyJulia have you considered making and selling them? Your choice of colors is beautiful also!
Amazing! I think yours looks BETTER than a delfonics! I would rather buy your design!
This is seriously such an amazing pouch!! I think I’m going to try to make one myself and I definitely am on the same kick of if I can make it myself I will. I just can’t afford to pay what people are charging for some things but I usually have the materials myself lol thanks for sharing this and you did such an amazing job!! Would definitely buy one and would love to see a tutorial if you decide to do one!

If I may ask one question to have a starting place how much canvas should I get??
@TiffanyJulia
5 жыл бұрын
I had 1.5 yards of canvas and a little more than a 1/2 yard of the floral fabric already on hand. I don't think I used up too much though because I've got plenty of fabric leftover to make another pouch. It also depends on how big you want your pouch. I'd say a 1yard of canvas and 1/2 yard of a pattern cotton lining should be enough for an A5-sized pouch, just to be safe.

Tiffany Julia yay!! Thank you so much. I definitely like the size of yours so that sounds like a great starting point!! I’ve never sewn something like this lol I hope I can figure it out because it looks like so much fun!! Thank you so very much for answering me and I will definitely tag you for credit when I make it ☺️

@@B311adonna Well, if you do get stuck, I'm definitely planning a tutorial that I'm hoping to begin filming next week, but I think I'm going to make the small pouch instead of this large one. They're both constructed the same way though, just the small one will use less fabric and be smaller. :)
@B311adonna

Tiffany Julia oh that’s so great!! I’m so happy to hear that you’ll be doing a tutorial I know so many people will be watching it lol this was such a great idea! And for sure the smaller one will just be easier to show the way to make it and use less material for you. That’s so great, well I have my notifications turned on anyway because I love your channel! I just found it but you’re so inspiring and we have a lot of the same likes so I was super happy to find such a great channel! Keep up the great content!!
I think delfonics does a thicker canvas with theirs. It's still floppy but I think a double weight to yours, but yours is stunning!! I plan to make one soon---though I'm trying to figure out how to design it :)
WOW!!! I JUST got a delfonics pouch and this is by far nicer! I wish you'd filmed because I actually was going to try and make one too. I still may because I feel this pouch is over rated. I got mine at fairly good price, but still more than something like this should cost. It sounds pretty labor intensive but if you ever plan to make another, definitley film! :D
@TiffanyJulia

Omg thank you! I'm definitely gonna try and make another one with the sole intention of filming this time, as it seems like most people would be interested in that. I just have to get around to Joann for some more zippers first..and maybe a different color canvas. I'm thinking I may even create a pattern too. IDK, I didn't expect to get such a response from this one! :D
Wowwww!! The one you made is absolutely beautiful! Would you consider making more and selling some? I'd definitely buy! Haha. I was reading the comments though and you mentioned possibly making a video showing how you did it. I would definitely watch that and would love to learn from you!!
@TiffanyJulia
5 жыл бұрын
Thank you!! Yeah I'm already planning on creating the video. I've already added it to my to-do list, so while it won't come out anytime soon, I've got it down as to do! I think I may go that route instead of making these to sell only because it's a bit time-consuming to make. I may create a pattern though to go along with the video because then it'll make it easier to follow along. I really wasn't expecting such an insanely positive response to this little pouch! :D
This is amazing! You made just looking at the photo!? OMG! I wanna as my mom to make me one, do you have the measurements?
@TiffanyJulia
5 жыл бұрын
Thanks! It's about 9in width x 7in height x 3in depth inches roughly. I was aiming for 8x6x2.5, but left a good 1/4-1/2 inch seam allowance, which made it a bit bigger than I intended! But it worked out nicely.

OMG... PLEEEASE consider making those. I am READY to give you ALLLL the moniessssss!!!! LOL. I LOOOOOVE that floral tab/pull and floral inner lining. Sooooo beautiful.
Fauxfonic!
I would love to puchase one from you. I do not sew, so purchasing the pdf from your site would not be an option to me. I’m sure wouldn't be the only one. Very well made. My mother was a grwat seamstress. She even made wedding dresses but I could never get the hang of it.
Your version of the Delfonics utility pouch is perfect! I can't sew. Would you consider making these available for purchase (just like yours)? I would definitely purchase one or two!

Thanks! I didn't have the cord in the pouch when I filmed this, but YES. I have a small cord that I use to charge this and it definitely does fit with everything else.

Aww thanks! I you definitely can do it if you try. I was total rubbish at sewing before I started practicing and using my machine more. You definitely learn as you do it.
Gosh that is so pretty. How clever of you to make this without a pattern. I have never seen a printer like that, how does it work??? Thanks for sharing this x
@TiffanyJulia
5 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I probably should make up a pattern for it, since I know how to put it all together now. But this is a portable Bluetooth mini printer from Canon called the Canon Ivy. It's like the HP Sprocket and it prints photos onto 2x3inch sticker photo paper from your phone. You'll have to download the app that works with the printer, but once you do, you can print any photo you have on your phone.

There aren't any that I'm aware of. I know cause I tried finding one before I made this pouch and couldn't. But I'm really considering making one myself to show how I made this. I just need to gather some more materials in order to do that.
