Thanks for sharing your journal bag of supplies. I'm like you, if it's not in easy reach or sight then I'm less likely to use it very often. Over the last 4 plus years I've really worked on downsizing my supplies and become more choosey (and sensible!) about what I buy. I used to be a big impulse shopper when it came to supplies. Now I truly try to only buy what I need and know I will use. Just as an example - In my July journal I finally finished using stickers from a sticker sheet (1 sticker sheet) that I had purchased over 15 years ago. Ok, so I used to be a sticker hoarder and impulse buyer of them. Still, 15+ years is a long to use one sheet of stickers. My "crafty" desk holds a lot of what I use; stickers, pens, paint, glue, etc. And I have 4 plastic boxes that hold supplies as well that are basically at arms length reach and I use them more often. Recently I made a box of supplies I don't use often, but want to use more often and I am using them more often. Outta sight, outta mind I think is something all journalers struggle with. Sorry about the novel! lol TFS

Yes! I totally get what you mean! I’ve been slowly downsizing my supplies the past two years too! I still have a long way to go but I think, like you mention, being more sensible with what we buy has been helpful! I’ve been trying to buy only the necessities like glue, tape, or things that I truly need. Maybe it 2023 we can all strive to use up our stashes more lol

@@imperfect_pages5331 I've been mainly buying necessities too. However, I am on the hunt for a great pair of fussy cutting scissors and I admit I've been looking at wahi tape online. But! I haven't really bought any in years and I have one smallish box of washi. I'd like some new patterns. 2023 will be hoping to continue to use my stash and keep down impulse buying when it rears it's ugly head. lol

It in her nature to be a trouble maker mine was tortioushel. Part Siamese all attitude.💋💜🐱stay safe huge hugs

Love this!! I have to go find it at hobby lobby!! I’m lazy as well I don’t want to keep grabbing stuff from my room and go into the living room with a messy table and have to clean it!!

Love this I use a small pink cubby to carry my journaling stuff around i have a bag but it's too big to carry around! So I usually wait till I get home to journal if I go out and I don't go outside with my journal cause I'm scared my dog is gonna eat my stuff! Love the video! Have a nice day
