Would loooove a skincare video! I’m so lost but want to figure out how to take care of my skin.

Interested in learning about yiur Lisa Eldridge foundation. I got a sample card with my lipstick order and I thought sade 2 was the best match for me. I think we are similarly pale and wear a lot of the same shades in other products, so I am surprised that you were advised shade 7. I didn't think the shades were all that much lighter/ more pale. Shade 1 was too light for me, but 2, which has some rosy undertones seemed spot on. I suppose it has to do with preference, too, though. I like to match my foundation to my neck.

Thank You for championing using all of your makeup stash. I see many influencers that do the opposite, and while it’s good to try new products, there’s only so much makeup that you can wear. I moved at the end of May this year and I’m in the process of using what I’ve got first, although I did cave and pick up some of the Elf quad shadows, as they’re finally in stock!

If you can get eco tools they make a good makeup sponge.

Arna I LOVE the way you apply your blush/bronzer. So many end up looking as if they've been punched and bruised.

I recently picked up the purito bb cream in shade 21 based on your raves about it and it's great! A very pigmented bb cream but not too much coverage, a little of it goes a long way I find.

Haven’t watched KZread in 7 months since my daughter was born and now that she’s sleeping a bit better I’ve been catching up on all your videos. I have missed your content.

Great video, Arna :) I can totally relate to the dog hair all over. I have lint rollers everywhere (purse, home, car) to roll hair off my clothes. Small price to pay for the amazing joy pups bring so I don’t mind at all :)

Yes we have beautiful flowers and plants growing in our small yard, and grass for Freya to roam around on (all fenced in of course!)

Face sponges are so tricky. I used cover girl for years until they changed their formula into a hard terrible sponge, even dampened....that's been some years ago, but I miss the original so much. Love this look here!

I can’t understand why a brand would change a sponge to be harder 🤣 we all want soft, squishy sponges that bounce!

I've tried three new foundations this year Taylor kept talking about the essence Pretty Natural tinted moisturizer so I had to try it and love it so pretty and skin like, like there's nothing on your face. They finally got the Catrice True Skin so I had to try that really pretty but I need to mix two shades to get mine and very full coverage and the Cover Girl Simply Ageless and honestly it's my new HG. Cover Girl should have gone CF sooner. If you want a good cream bronzer I've been using the e.l.f and this liquid one from Flower.

Can you try the new purito bb cream shades? They seem very yellow/warm toned though...My skintone is similar to yours so İ might need one that is a tiny bit lighter than the 21 shade

Hi Arna do you still rate the Ela sponges? They are pricey but I can’t stop with them. The shape and softness. Thankfully I got 20% off so it was about $15 ea instead of 20 with shipping so will last me a bit longer

I am usually your shade Arna in foundation and I would have gone for number seven too I think. You are right they dont seem to differ much. Peach undertones also confuse me! Is that warm or cool?! Rosy, neutral and yellow I understand!!

"Peach" is what a lot of brands think "neutral" is.

Yeah peach is just blend of yellow and pink, but I feel I’m more of a beige neutral haha so peach with a bit of blue I guess??

I never use powder highlighter anymore either! And I have so many ... 😭 I just don't like that texture anymore

It does transfer for sure, but it wears off quite evenly I feel (eg it isn’t splotchy or flaky, it’s just less and less coverage as you wear the mask!) I find the surgical ones best to reduce foundation rub!

I’m concerned that they recommend shade 7 for you. I am shade 9 in the foundation and I have light medium skin tone with an olive undertone and it matches me perfectly

The light shades don’t differ too much in depth from shade 2-8. Shade 1 is significantly more fair, and then there is a bit of a jump to shade 9 for the light-medium shades!

THE FLOWER BEAUTY SPONGE CHANGE!! It’s former and doesn’t expand as much. Really don’t like it. Thank you for making me feel like I’m not just gaslighting myself 😂
