My favourite devotional is Unto the hills by Billy Graham. It has a verse for everyday and a key word to live by each day. I really love it. Really great video.

If you're wanting to understand the Bible as a whole and how it fits together, you should watch the Greatest Story Ever Told sermon series. It's by a Church called Sagebrush, and they have them posted on their KZread account "Sagebrush Videos." Even though I don't go there it's my favorite overview of the Bible! You can also check out the Bible Project (go to their website), they do a bunch of illustrated videos that overviews each book of the Bible.

Girl, I don't even understand why people say that other versions of the bible are of the devil. If it helps you understand the bible more and have a deeper connection with God I dont understand what the problem is 🤷‍♀️ I feel you girl.

It has alot to do with different authors changing the verses to the point of altering God's message, and (in some cases) completely removing the verses from the bible. Just like we have to be careful of listening to false prophets...we have to do the same with what we read. The NLT is great, but the NIV and Passion translations I would be wary of....im not familiar with the message. Hope this helps to better understand the pushback some believers have when it comes to new bible translations 💛

If you want the real spoken truth KJV 1960 is the best option.

I have a leather carrying case for my Bible with pocket on each sides. On the front it has John 3:16 written across the front. it is one that have a carrying handle. I love it. I carry glasses and a highlighter pen too. this has help me out and gets me going to business to Church and Bible studies which , I absolutely love. I can't see myself without it. Maybe it's a support in some way. Good post Russ from Oregon

I love the She Reads Truth Bible, once you decided to go on to another Bible I 100% recommend! It is in the CSB translation

Charles Spurgeon's "Evening by Evening" devotional is my go-to and I find it full of wisdom! I also read Oswald Chamber's "My Utmost for his Highest" as I've always loved the classics!

You should try midliner highlighters they are amazing

Nice! As for the message it’s decent. The Amplified is more accurate but adds a bunch of descriptions in block parentheses to make it easy to know what it’s talking about. Then as you mentioned NLT is a next step and one of my favorites, but two of the best versions are really ESV and NKJV. You should consider one of those your 3rd time around after Message/Amplified/NLT and to anyone who’s reading through all the books!

And if you know another language, try reading in another language, it helps you understand certain things because English sometimes falls short with available words it can communicate the message of the Bible at times.

You sure you want to push product on a channel where you say you want to glorify god ? people having a youtube channel have a far greater weight of judgement upon themselves because they, sometimes unknowingly have a bunch of sheep that there responsible for.
