Say… When you get a new camera, do you put any sort of protection on it? Silicone skin for the body or a screen protector?

I’ll usually do a screen protector but nothing more. The bodies are pretty tough but the screens can get scratches so I protect them.

Amazing
I use the neweer batteries for canon LP-E17 they do not hold a charge, if you just leave them in your bag a week or so they just fail, I would advise against neewer, their stuff used to be good but between their batteries and their EF to RF adapter constantly failing I would just avoid the company altogether

Good to know! I haven't had any issues with their Sony line of stuff but I'll watch out for the batteries losing a charge.

How do you like the tamron 70-180? I am between the tamron and the sony 70-200 f4. What do you recommend?

Great video. Taylor have you used the Tamron 28-75? I have it and love it but I saw you went away from Tamron for that focal length range and wondering if you had used both the Tamron and Sigma and if so what made you choose the Sigma over the Tamron?

Thanks Michael! Yes, I actually have both (and was filming with the Tamron). I like the Tamron for video but the sharpness and clarity is better out of the Sigma so I gravitate towards it for photography. I like the lower contrast look when shooting video though so the Tamron is great. It's also much more portable than the Sigma. All that said, if I had to choose just one it would be the Sigma.

The question of third-party batteries often comes up. In general I would always caution against using third-party batteries
