I mean, the GITB Guy always asked you to go into the bag and if you refused he just knocked you out manually and stuffed you in there. So of course he'd do it again but with more flair once he learnt magic

Love how Santa tells a villager to not ask about his sack and does nothing when a entire crowd does it.

I think its because the rest of the villagers are in a sort of trance-like state, if you watch the beginning scene closely you'll notice Santa bumps into the librarian causing him to "snap back to reality" in a way. It appears that the Trance can be broken if an outside force not under the trance makes contact with the villager, for example the villager that Santa blew glitter onto seemed to be very confused and not going with the crowd. Another smaller example is when Santa start's his epic Sax solo(Which I honestly love) and throws his robes onto a villager, notice how for a moment the villager keeps jumping in motion with the rest but then all of a sudden starts struggling to get it off. Santa knows that the librarian and glitter villager are not in the trance so he does his best to keep them at bay to ensure they don't ruin his plan i.e pushing them aside and going back to the glitter villager to get him again

I love how the subtitles are like a normal song subtitle until the Villager that notices Santas crime talks, then the subtitles are offset and blend in and out quickly, as if they just say whatever the Villagers say and don't just repeat the song. Thats a nice detail! I love you guys! You make the funniest animations! And songs I guess!

I think that santa actually escaped the Pit Of Death, as this is an update after he got trapped.

Just imagine what the situation must be like for the kids in that scenario. They're so happy that they are getting presents, or so they think, and suddenly they are inside that big sack. They struggle and scream desperately, calling out to their parents, but their parents' very singing makes it so nobody can hear them. Despite all the happy and cheerful music, this is actually one of the most terrifying things a kid can experience.

But because he did the job so easily, the villagers refused to pay him the promised amount. Found some problems, if ya make a mistake video with this animation. 1:38 - Three villagers behind the Librarian are just completely still. Like they are not moving at all. 3:00 - If you look at the guy next to the nitwit in the background, another villager litterally walks through him and just chills in his body.

So, with so much musical skill and animation skill, you do this… I love it.

God, watching "Your Door was Locked" and this back-to-back really makes you admire how far Element Animation has come as an animator, it's beautiful X*)

This song feels like a mixture of that and that one scene from Christmas With The Villagers II (you know, the ‘get in the bag’ one) Gotta say, all three are amazing. I, actually, have been listening to Your Door Was Locked! quite a bit lately, so seeing this was an amazing coincidence.

@@starbeam7679 someone told me that it was a different guy dressed up as santa i believe that the guy just grew a beard and escaped the pit of death :shrug:

I love the small detail where the dancing villagers aren't quite in sync so it looks like actual dancing and less mechanical. Something else I noticed is the 2 people Santa physically interacted with were the ones that had the charm broken. We know the one that was yelling (Bumped at 0:41), but the other one was just assaulted by glitter repeatedly so he couldn't make much sense of what was going on (0:45 and 1:34).

Also the villager at 2:16 has Santa's shirt land on his head, and he starts trying to shake it off, because his curse was broken.

This is my favorite song now, although without context it is sus but this just the best type of song they could’ve ever made, and my first one I’ve watched from them.

After re-watching it a few times, I have found at least two elves in the video aiding the villager Santa in his mischief. The most noticeable one is at 1:15 behind the tree when the two villager children run up to receive their presents. However, there is one before this point at 0:34 in the background. He does not appear to be wearing the proper Christman acquire, but he looks awfully suspicious, hiding in the forest, so it is a good possibility that he is one of the elves.

When I started watching this, my thought was "aww! Wholesome villager Christmas content!" ... Then the librarian mentioned the kids were missing and this went from adorably wholesome to hilariously dark in 2 seconds!

Ya know what's crazy is that I expected something more... but my idea was the "Get in the bag" being this thing we're he saves the world when it was disappearing... But he would still be totally evil. It's more a... the enemy of my enemy's world is popping out of existence sort of thing.

2:26 My favorite verse. Not only because the interruption by librarian dude is the funniest, but Santa teleports next to him just to mock him. I noticed this a month ago and it made it 5x funnier. The details in this video are insane

@@violetopal6264 Villager News actually did his job a couple years back, they filed a defamation lawsuit and had to fill in for him.

I love this song but damn is this song dark 😂 I keep watching it because of how good it is and (as the villager at 2:57) says is catchy but santa kidnapped all the children!

Oh yeah! Didn’t they say in a Villager News Christmas edition that the “original” Santa’s job is to kidnap children and do gifts.

This is better than most Christmas carols. The next generation should go door to door singing this.
