And yes that’s my only regret with my Graceful is that I don’t have color transfer on the outside of the bag but at the top on the inside is where it is.

Lol! That’s what I’m here for! But, sadly I hate to report, my Artsy had to go back. The interior pocket started pulling away from the lining. ☹️ Also, I would wait to purchase an Artsy because right now they are having issues with some of them. The trim across the top of the bag is not developing a patina the same as the handle. The handle is darkening while the trim stays light (because they’re using treated leather on that part only 😡). I would wait until they get this resolved and then purchase one. I was fortunate enough that mine didn’t have different leathers on it, but then instead mine started coming apart inside. 😟 I can’t seem to win for losing. I went with a completely different bag altogether. I picked up the Odeon. I have a video on it! Let me know what you decide and if you get an Artsy how it’s holding up!

Nanette Khoury I am really enjoying this bag sooo much. I love it! I know, I’m so sorry. I completely forgot to mention how to tell treated from untreated. The tell tale sign is if you take a water wipe (make sure it’s a water wipe and doesn’t have fragrance or anything added to it) and touch it to the leather. If the leather immediately gets dark and soaks up the water, then it’s untreated. If it takes a while for the leather to look like it’s soaking up the water, or you have to rub it for it to look darker, then it’s likely been treated.

Eeek! Great seeing you!! I pray that your DA doesn’t turn yellow like mine did on my graceful. I sold it to fashionphile and put that toward speedy 35 DE print. I’m not thrilled with handles on the speedy, they look rubbery to me and cheap. I’m done with LV for now, I’m stupid for getting speedy 35 knowing quality is bare minimum. But the style I truly desire. Does your speedy canvas feel thinner than it use to be? I’m curious.. Anyway, love peeking in your bags it’s fun, I’ll never be bold enough to share mine as organized as it is. Your precious toots! Bless you and your family.

Why ziploc bags? I live in a small town and walk quite a bit. 1 of them is to slip my phone in, in case it rains. Thank you for the video! How much do you feel you have to baby this Artsy bag in regards to not being able to wear certain fabrics/colors? I am considering getting it but want to be able to use it as a day-to-day bag, but not if there is a high risk of color transfer. I do agree with you about the new leather trim looking the best on the damier azur, so if this is a very delicate bag I may consider a different hobo bag such as the Graceful instead. Thanks!

Hello! I wasn’t really very careful with it and I didn’t have a problem with it getting anything permanent on it. I did have one time where my jeans rubbed into the corner or the bag (I was walking a lot and carrying the bag) and I found color transfer on the bottom corner. However, I got a dry flannel cloth and it rubbed right off. If you’re taller than me, I’m 5’4”, you may not have an issue. Because I’m on the shorter side the bottom of the bag does reach the top of my jeans. I say get it if you really like it and use it. If something gets in it just wipe it off.

I love the unusual things in your bags. The mementos from your Dad and son are sweet. I laughed at the 200 lipsticks, lol. I had the same LV makeup bag, but my SA let me return it. It turned out to be a $400 ChapStick and Tic Tac holder, lol. Really enjoy your videos - resubbed. I was Subscribed, but I "fell off" somehow.

Great video, thanks! Did you know that all canvas pieces are made in France and then sent to the US (or wherever). So when it's written "made in USA" it actually means that the bag was sewn / assembled in the US, but the canvas pieces were actually made in France. Big kiss from France 😘

Thank you !!! I’m glad I can help. If you are wanting a bag that has more compartmentalization then the Artsy is the way to go. The Graceful is a powerhouse. It holds SO MUCH stuff and is also a lot more comfortable on your shoulder. The artsy is prettier because of the handle, but I still love the graceful as well. I don’t know how helpful this was since I went back and forth between the two, but they really are very different bags. For comfort and capacity I would choose the Graceful MM. Not to mention it’s about $600 less.

Debra Johnson both bags are lovely, but I think I would take my Graceful. For one, it’s a smooshy bag (more so than the artsy) and you can tuck the strap inside the bag without ruining it if you have to. The artsy you cannot do that and you run the risk of getting it damaged. Especially when you have to put it on the nasty conveyor belt. They both fit a ton too. I would definitely say the Graceful. I would still hate if something happened to it, but in the event it did, it isn’t as costly as the Artsy is. Let me know which one you end up taking and how it wore! Have fun!!💕

I skipped around a little bit because I was in a a hurry but I was wondering if you could point me to the video that talks about the different vachetta leather on bags that are treated versus untreated and how we can tell the difference? I personally wish that my leather would NOT patina on some of the bags. For instance, I bought the Graceful in DA MM with Beige and I LOVED the look of the blonde light leather and I did not want it to darken, but I knew that it would, so I returned it :(

I’m so sorry. It wouldn’t attach my pictures. It kept saying the files were too large. As for how to tell if your leather has been treated you simply take a water wipe and touch it to the leather in a very indiscriminate place and if the leather immediately turns dark and absorbs the water then you know that your leather has not been treated however if it takes a while for the water to sink in then your leather has been treated

Mine I’ve had maybe 2? years , and the complaint I have w it is the name is rubbing off on the front, as well as the edges are rubbed out so it shows white on the four rounded corners 🤨. For some reason they don’t get bent. And the interior lining of the pockets are super soft, so they also don’t get scratched. Perhaps they don’t get bent because the pockets don’t go all the way down so the majority of my things rest below where the glasses are.

My Neverfull Azure has lighter Vechetta and darker handles 😭 I was told it was normal bc they used different cowhides.

Hello! That is absolutely not normal. They’re just trying to get away with. It replacing your bag and doing crappy work. For this very reason I will not be buying anymore vachetta leather pieces. At least not until they get their act together. Don’t settle for their answer. Make them replace it!

I got them from a seller on Etsy. They’re really easy to find. Just search LV agenda dashboard.

The way that the bags patina is really up to the consumer isn’t it unless they had your bag on display before you purchased it ? Isn’t all vachetta untreated ? I will have to check to see if they have changed , but I’ve collected for years and the ebene ,cowhide and the leather bags are the treated ones ... vachetta means untreated if I’m not mistaken so I’m really curious when they changed this ? Love your videos btw !!! We have the same taste it seems 🍷

Hello! Yes, it is unfortunate but they have started treating the vachetta leather with something that is making it semi-waterproof and it doesn’t tan as quickly. I hate it. I wish they would have left it alone and kept it truly untreated. The bad part is they are only putting the treated vachetta in certain places on certain bags. For example, the trim at the top of an artsy. You can see examples in my videos. It’s sad because I love the natural patina process and love for my bags to patina. Thank you so much for watching!

I would consider this an everyday bag. But then again I like big bags and I carry a lot with me day to day.

I love that bag. I've contemplated that bag for so long. It isn't brass. It is gold-colored hardware. Dumb, I know, but the use of brass isn't a thing anymore. It's also on the site. I hope you make an updated video once you use this for a few months! I'd love to hear how it wears

Italida Reviews the description says brass but details say gold color. Trust me, they don’t use brass anymore. They haven’t since the early 2000’s. The site use to say brass where it does here but below it said gold toned. I asked forever ago and they said that’s just how it was worded but brass was no longer used. It’s dumb too bc brass isn’t expensive but it does turn green. Yours won’t be turning green. The ONLY one I have that has brass is my speedy 25. And it turned green. I actually think maybe gold tone is better bc it won’t ruin your leather How do you feel about it on your shoulder?? Does it dig in or do you find you use it more on the crook of your arm? I tried it in Atlanta last year and it was so massive yet when full they look so slouchy and gorgeous!

LVCoffeeLver thats really interesting. If the brass turns green then yes I would definitely rather have gold toned. As for the comfort, tbh initially it was very uncomfortable on my shoulder until the strap started to break in. So I would carry it on my shoulder a while then switch to my arm. Now, within just a week of using it, the strap has conformed to my shoulder and it’s comfortable to wear. I love the way this bag slouches, as you said, once it breaks in a little and you have your things in it. It’s pure deliciousness. 🥰 I wear it on my shoulder primarily.

Yes, the speedy b in mono that I just got like five months ago. I was so sad and upset. I had one dark handle and one light. If you watch my comparison video between the DE and Mono Speedies you’ll see what I’m talking about. If it’s not developing an even patina you need to return it. Unless it doesn’t bother you. But it drove me nuts!

Artsy reminds me of the graceful MM they almost are identical except for the arts he has feet and a different handle

Hello! Yes they definitely share similarities. However the Artsy has seven interior pockets in total. Much more potential for organization than the Graceful. The Graceful is a much light and more comfortable bag in my opinion. I love them both!

Hi Young Lady, After viewing this video, I decided to get the DA Artsy instead of chasing the Propiano. I have been chasing the Propiano for the last year and a half. Whenever I have the money the availability is not there. When I am broke, the availability is there. I am about to call the 800 number as soon as I finish posting this. Got the money, want the bag. I am too lazy to go to my local mall and have them order it. I live in the suburbs and I am over an hour from the nearest LV store. Young me with no children would just hop in the car. Old me is gonna pick up the phone. BTW, my purse bling insert for my Graceful will be here today! Can finally start carrying it. You make GREAT, INFORMATIVE, videos. Thank you.

I just ordered the DA Artsy. Praying it successfully processes and gets here soon. The deciding factor was the overlap of canvas material for dirt prevention. I am so excited. Thank you again.

@@ItalidaReviews i got my purse bling organizer. It is perfect. As I was placing the organizer in the bag I noticed a scratch on my Graceful near the top. At first I thought it was some of that packing gummy stuff. Then I realized it is a scratch/crack in the canvas. I am about to cry. Now I have to drive to the actual store and exchange it. Wondering of it is worth the trip. I just bought this thing on November 4th. Had I not been putting the organizer in, I would never have caught it😔. I was actually sitting on the sofa under a light.

@@ItalidaReviews So I know you are about tired of me whining about this bag but I have great news! I broke down and called Client Services. The Saks at Phipps Plaza has the exact Graceful MM with the peony interior. The young lady on the phone told me to go there tomorrow at 11 a.m GA TIME and they will exchange my Graceful MM. I am too persnickety and neurotic to not exchange it😊. I also noticed that you do not settle either. Additionally, my Artsy has shipped😄! That was crazy fast. I really do not want to drive to Buckhead but I will leave Saks with the perfect Graceful MM tomorrow. I claim that.
