oh and since you recommend feeling a sense of completion after finishing something, i recommend the zebra sarasa study for your pen needs! they have these percentage things on the ink barrel so you can actually see how much is left (which correlates to how much writing you've done, lol)

SENIOR YEAR TOO

I'm going to be a senior this year too AND I'M TERRIFIED 💀💀💀💀

When I took AP lit I would use small tabs to mark a quote/paragraph in a book I wanted to annotate. I’d write a number, so like 1,2,3 etc. And then I’d number my thoughts in the notebook so it matches the tab. Sorry if this is a weird explanation 😭 but basically like the first quote would have a 1 on the tab, and in my notebook I just have to write 1. and then my thoughts instead of writing out the full quote

i like to annotate with washi tape by sticking one half to the side of the page i want to mark and flipping the page then sticking down the other half. it looks less messy that sticky notes
