Started the semester about a month ago (different country/calendar), and some stuff here already is on my daily list. Laptop, the external mouse and storage, decent earbuds, one thing I can heavily encourage is to get a simple and portable stand for the laptop, as it helps you raise the laptop screen and ease neck pain

I agree that a mouse is a piece of tech that most of us tend to not think about but having a mouse on your desk really helps you with your productivity especially if you will be sitting for long periods of time. Overall, Great tech recommendations Karl!

The Switch is such a must have (in any form, lite, classic, OLED ...) so underrated. Or a combo gamepass + smartphone controller like Razer kishi or backbone ! Love the bag it's really cool too

Switch was good but not anymore. A device with a gamepass or a steam deck are much much better options imo.

Hi Karl! I'm going to high school as a freshman in 4days, super nervous. Aer SF Duffle Pack is the one I have been looking for everywhere, especially for the compartment where I can put my gym outfits while looking compact. Loving the LG tone-free fit TF8, I'm the sweaty gym guy I would love those pairs.

Hey Karl, just started my law masters this week. I survived week 1. Due to heavy book and the weight I have to carry, an iPad would be amazing for the light weight and easy note taking is essential for me as I need typed up notes and written notes

Phenomenal video! My favorite has got to be the MacBook Air, I’m planning to get one in November this year :) though the iPad Air is also a great option, and does the job for most tasks (albeit in a different way)

Always informative karl. Although I'm not a student anymore, I'm currently reviewing for architecture board examination here in the Philippines. My top tier here was the aer bagpack followed by the Ipad. Bigger and has more compartment and on the go multitasking tablet would always be good combo in any situation when you're studying. (Tech video that has an orange vibe? Definitely it's karl 🤣)

I love the higher end backpack as I am in the market to find a better one since traveling is the norm again. Been rocking a Herschel one for years and need to upgrade.

I got a Nike gym backpack for 28€ on the Nike Outlet store! Stay alert on these deals, cause the backpack was 59,99€. It has 2 big compartments, one for books, pens, tablets/computers, the other for clothing, has a small compartment for glasses in between the bigger ones. Also has a front compartment and a shoe compartment. Side zipped pocket on one side and net pocket on the other. It holds stuff very well! If you do sports or gym or something else and don't want to carry 2 bags, this comes very clutch! Been my holy grail backpack even for photography, cause my gear slingbag fits the shoe compartment

I'd be honest, I have been saving for a Mac for using it purely for edithing and designing in general and this MacBook Air M2 would be so amazing as I'm rocking an old DELL lapt and by now almost any device would look nice compared with what mine has internally speeking.

Would definitely appreciate some headphones. And I got my aer bag 4 years ago per your recommendation and it's still holding up great.

In my opinion a leather backpack is the classiest route to go for in the university. However it caps you in terms of compartments, mostly.

I had iPad at school and it was my main device with pc at home. I had schoolbooks on it, maths software and overall it was the main device for me and a lot of people in our class had this to simply not carry the textbooks

Mad to go into year 11 (British equivalent of senior year high school) and I think an Apple Watch would be great this year because it’s the only piece of tech really allowed during exam season

Going into 2nd year of college, during the summer my MacBook Airs battery fried and broke the screen and apple said they wouldn’t cover the fix because I was two days over warranty so I need a new laptop for college and would love the MacBook M2 love the videos

I have the M2 MacBook Air and it is awesome!! I also have to Air 4 that I use in classes and I like it a lot! The one thing is, i don’t know what will work in ipad 16

the logitech combo touch case is far cheaper and arguably somewhat better than the apple keyboard case, since the logitech one is a proper case and the keyboard+trackpad can magnetically detach when not in use. check it out if you don't want to pay the insane price of the apple oem keyboard

Will do! I found it a bit too cold tbh and just have it set to -1. I also transferred the cover onto my old mattress as I found the one from 8 Sleep to be too soft
