This is just what I needed to see today. I just realized easter is soon here and I need to prepare easter gifts for my kiddos. In Sweden where Im from we pick big paper eggs with candy and maybe smaller items and toys. But I love watching how you pack your baskets! Thanks for the inspiration!

LOL is right up my 5 year olds alley!! I love those clearance finds too! I love finding things cheaper than the dollar tree lol Mess free is always great. Love that monogramed brush. Scrunchies are a good find too. Lucky kiddos!!!

My 8yo loves all things “More Than Magic” from Target. I operate the same way with clearance finds. I buy when I see it. I save my finds for my little one and/or birthday gifts for friends etc. Great ideas!

Hi Katie 🌻. My kids are grown but I did the same as you when they were little…I would collect clearance items all year long for all the celebrations and have a “stash” in a big tote container in my closet ( I always had so much fun doing that 😍 ). I have grandkids now and I struggle with what to buy the boys but I always find lots of fun things for the girls 😂 ( and yes….it’s a smaller stash but I still have that in my closet for them these days and it’s still fun for me to shop 😉 )

I want to go to DT but it's so far away from me, and I'm still sad about the .25 price increase 😆 holding a grudge 🤷 you found some awesome items. I love the shopping all year and finding those absolute score deals. Bit we've got those playdough fun characters from DT and they are awesome.

Matchbox cars were the original small toy car. They came out before Hot Wheels. They have stuck to making cars, but Hot Wheels make lots of tracks and towers, so most kids want those. My cousin has match box cars from his dad was little and they are worth a lot of money. I wish out Doller Tree's had more Grogu items...I make easter bags for nieces and nephews and they all love The Mandalorian...So does my daughter, and she is grown. Will check again...Last year I put a Grogu Funko Pop in my daughter's easter basket and she loves it. I don't know where you live, but we have a store called Five Below and I found a lot of things for my nephews and for my daughter there. They have everything from Easter candy to Anime...They have a ton of puzzels and games. They have tee shirts for $5. They feel like decient quality. I found one with a cat on it for my daughter and one of my nephews is really into Spongebob, I got him a tee, puzzel, card game, easter crabby patties and a pencil case that had pencils, stickers...etc. They have some old fashon candy that was around when I was a kid, so I got my daughter rock candy suckers and a couple other candies you do not see much today. If you have a Five Below, it's a perfect store for cheap things for easter baskets. I also bought mhy nephew a couple poppers, he is autistic, and those toys were originaly for kids with senory issues. I got a rocket and video game controler.

Thanks for sharing. As someone who works for dollar tree, I know how easy it is to become a victim of the cheapy toys. Lol. You're right, it's not the best deal. We do offer quite a few decent things though! I have a 4 year old boy who is into everything "boy" but luckily also dolls and barbie and "girl" things so it's a little easier for me but I think you're totally right that it's so easy to find things for girls but boys, not so much.
