Hi Katie, extra jam refers to the percentage of pulp in the product. There has to be a certain percentage for it to be considered "extra jam". Hope this helps!

Za’ater is mixed to a thick consistency with olive oil and spread on dough and baked like a pizza. Or you can spread on toast or wrap in pita bread.

I got the macarons today!!! So happy and I’m obsessed with the chocolate plantain chips.

We go tomorrow! We will be at the Coralville, Iowa location, any Trader Joe's is about 2 and a half hours from me, I am in Peoria, Illinois. My oldest daughter and I go every 3-4 months and are hooked.

I went yesterday and got the soup, Aussie cookies, and plantain chips. That soup is a new favorite for me but I only found one tiny dumpling in my bowl! Loved the cookies too. Haven't tried the plantains but can't imagine they're bad! Can't wait to hear about the honey….

So... I live in NH but I watch your channel religiously to keep in the know in new items to try. I have 2 Trader Joe's near me and the cashiers at both all know now that I come in looking for things I see on your channel. I WAS super bummed that we never got the Speculoos cookie beer, but I had the wine department looking out for it for me 😁. Also, mix the za'atar in to plain greek yogurt or sour cream 1 day before serving then use as a dip... So good!!

I'm so happy the butter mochi cake is back! I like making it from scratch but the box version is so easy and tastes just as delicious. And thanks for recommending the soft licorice a while back. Hi, I love sweet potato fries, but just didn't think dipping them in ketchup sounded good to me, so I make a dip for them, using Franks Red Hot Sweet Chili Sauce and Mayonnaise. I don't have any measurements, I just put mayonnaise and the sweet chili sauce in a bowl and mix until it's the consistency of ketchup. It's Yummy!!!

I went to Trader Joe's today and kept looking for the new cereal with it's crunchiness however was told by an employee that this item was pulled from the shelf due to quality issues and the manufaturer did not make it to the specifications they should have and therefore it will be returning in 2 weeks

I wish I had a Trader Joe’s close to where I live.

Hi Katie, do you have any tips on how to freeze bakery items? Do you transfer to air tight containers or wrap in plastic wrap first? I have tried freezing cookies and muffins before and they did not thaw out with nearly as much flavor. Love your hauls by the way.

I just read that we should save our pickle juice, sweet or dill, and marinate our chicken in it for a few hours or overnight. Makes it really moist. I'm going to try this.

I actually buy the one in the package with a sauce pack from Costco. I do add the umami seasoning from TJ’s and a huge helping of cauliflower.

You need to try the zaatar with extra virgin olive oil and also labne( it’s like Greek Yogurt).

My daughter just got me the ham and caramelized onion pizzas I love, the light string cheese sticks, and the Caramelized onion dip, along with other things. We’re to get bad weather again, but that’s Iowa. Take care!! 🥰

I wanted to do a taste test myself while watching your taste test tomorrow but I wasn’t patient😂 I already tried some of the new products yesterday🥲 the sauce was more like thousand island dressing than in n out sauce. I loved the plantains chips with chocolate though🥳

If you haven’t recorded your taste test, try this for the Aussie cookies: Bite off both ends. Use cookie as a straw for warm/hot coffee or cocoa. The chocolate filling will melt and go into your mouth. This leaves a melty, soggy cookie. Pop it in your mouth as quickly as you can. These cookies are a copycat of Tim Tams. Eating them this way is called “Tim Tam slam.” An Aussie friend sent me a care package full of these when I lived in NYC after September 11. It’s night and day from eating them straight out of the package.

But anyway, I got the chocolate heart mouse cake, the jam filled heart short bread cookies, the mini raspberry heart mouse cakes and macaroons. I could not find the new Valentine’s Day macaroons but my daughter likes them anyway. So thanks for telling me about it. You can spend a fortune in that store. So I only allow myself once a month

There were so many more vegan options when I lived in Seattle that I've never seen in Minnesota. I moved a year and a half ago and was honestly surprised how different the trader Joe's were here in Minnesota.

I was at TJs yesterday (Pa) and no vanilla vegan cupcakes, but I did hear they are not GF so my daughter wouldn't have been able to eat them anyway. (more for me!) the GF cupcakes are seriously sooooo good. Very dense and chocolatey and the icing is bomb! Tomorrow we will be breaking open the GF cinnamon muffins! I had the dry shampoo in my hand but I put it back so I could see if anyone liked it. I use Living Proof dry shampoo and love it but it's expensive so I'm curious as to how it works. The x/o gummies are addicting! Can't wait to see the taste test.

Extra jam just means that there’s extra pulp...yum! 😊

Hi Katie, nearest T-J to me is a 100 mile round trip, but it's worth it. I rely on your hauls to see what I might get. Then when I get there, I get the monthly newsletter. I read that when I get home, then write down items I'd like to get, (cross my fingers, that what I want to get, isn't sold out) then I make another trip in a couple weeks. Love the color of your polish, you're going to have to start putting what color you're wearing in your description. If it's your polish (not a salon) can you share? Love your videos, hope to also see more cooking videos to!!!
