Great session!!!!! But, in my opinion, Mark Jaimes on guitar killed it. Fantastic jazz guitarist. I'm a jazz guitarist of 50 years. He smoked. I look at all the comments. And everyone praises Peter white and the saxophonist. The other guitar player was awesome!!!! Come on folks!!! People really don't know what's good and what's okay. I guess that's why many quality musicians, never make it!!!

That’s because most people who listen to Peter white are middle aged men and women who haven’t any playing experience. His sound is more palatable and easily digestible. People who play the instrument can appreciate the craft a lot more in-depth. I don’t know peter whites background but I’ve followed him for years and he very accessible. He’s no George benson but may be he isn’t trying to be,

"People really don't know what's good and what's okay." So who are you to make that judgement on "most people" ? Most people who listen to any kind of music, do so to be entertained. It's a subjective thing, you either like what you hear or you don't. Perhaps your "quality musicians" never made it because they were not being listened to by most people.

Hello guys, stay relaxed! You are all right. These musicians are highly talented in various fields. Peter White is first and foremost an outstanding entertainer, arranger and songwriter. By the way, this is an excerpt from the "Peter White Show" (not Mark Jaimes Show). Peter chooses and arranges the songs according to his skills on the guitar. Marc James is a session musician. His compositions and arrangements are highly complex and technically demanding, but for my taste little enjoyable. Marc's talent is to get on stage every day with other musicians of different styles and to bring with his guitar exactly what his client (in this case Peter White) demands of him. I think both guitarists do their jobs well, but would not be able to do the other’s work. I enjoy the overall result. Finally, I guess we music lovers are allowed to talk about both music and musicians in this channel. Otherwise Michael Klein would simply delete our comments. Enjoy the music, musicians, comments, life ...
