What you made in the first video clip is called a chopped cheese. I recommend forming the meat into Pattie’s, get a good sear on each side and then chop it up. The crispy bits of the meat are so delicious. Been making them for about 3 years. Learned the recipe from Lizzy Lew.

I am always amazed at the delicious meals you come up with, they’re always different than the everyday dinner ideas I see. I think, THINK, I know why that is…you do the work. Nowadays everything is Crockpot, insta pot, and air fryer. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE a crockpot dinner, especially on days I work, so easy at 6pm to have dinner ready to go. 6p is always hectic for our family, I get off work and my husband gets home from work. So we gotta, walk the dogs (2 GSDs), get showers, eat dinner, run to the DG (it’s a block away, tiny small town), get house picked up, just always so much to do. Not this week tho! This week I’m making some of your dinner ideas, no matter how little time I have lol!!

Hi Kristin, I have recently come to the same conclusion that I like the original bacon 🥓 as opposed to the thick sliced. I switched to the thick for a few months but I missed the crispness of the regular. I want to crunch my way through it instead of chew, lol. Love the new Crock Pot, green is my favorite color. That last meal will be the first one I will try, I enjoy pork chops almost any way they are made. Yum!

Everything looks delicious, as usual. It is recommended, though, that you not spray your air fryer basket as it can damage the nonstick coating. When I can't spray the food itself (like fries), I punch some holes in some aluminum foil, spray that, and then line the basket with it. Easier cleanup too.

my wife makes bake potatoes in our instant pot. put on steam seal it and steam it with water or broth for 10 mins.

I prefer the regular cut too, it needs to be crispy!

Love this video! Love my Instant Pot, here is a family favorite: Instapot Mexican Rice 1 1/2 cups long grain rice 1/4 cup canola oil 1/4 cup medium onion, finely diced 2 cloves garlic, minced 8 ounces tomato sauce 2 Tbls. Parsley 1/4 tsp. salt 1 1/2 cups chicken broth Rinse the rice until the water runs clear. Turn instant pot to saute, add oil to bottom. Add rice, garlic, and onion, and saute, stirring often. Add tomato sauce, salt, parsley and chicken broth, and stir to combine. Stir well. Turn instant pot off and secure lid. Turn vent to seal. Turn on manual high pressure, and cook 3-4 minutes. When timer beeps, naturally vent for 10 minutes. Turn Instapot off. Remove lid, and fluff rice. Replace lid and let it rest a few minutes.

You poured the chicken broth upside down. If you turn the carton to have the hole at the top, it won't glug, it will pour nice. Try it and thank me later. Have a great day!

Where are your sub rolls from? Or can anyone recommend a good sub bun from either walmart or publix or aldi? These are our main stores, but no matter what subs I pick up, they always taste weird and have strange texture. I just want a good tasting, soft sub roll to make my cheesesteaks. The bakery/deli sub rolls from walmart are not good at all.
