What's a LCG(Low Center of Gravity) Jeep TJ LJ? Explained?!
Комедия
Let's talk about what an LCG LCOG TJ LJ is. Went sideways on me a little bit, we moreso talk suspension 101 with short lifts vs tall lifts, body lifts and suspension lifts, tire sizes for various lifts, etc.

Great video and love the stance
Good information here thanks
Just found your channel and I am now subscribed . I have a 03 TJ on a 3.5 suspension lift with a 1'' body lift . I want to achieve a lower center of gravity , so the body lift is coming off this coming spring . I do have aftermarket fenders as well .

Thank you!
2 3/4”s more clearance in back behind the tire.
2 inch body v8 zj multi rate springs on 36s flat belly. Moved rear back 2 inches with coil correction and adjustable control arms high line fenders up front works killer

Nice! Yep that is the sweet spot!
Maybe not the reason for the video but what gearing are you running on these for the various tires? I’m running 488 and 33” ko2’s on a 2 inch budget boost with my LJ - and really would’ve been happy with 513 although the difference is pretty minimal a couple hundred rpm by my calcs. I got a ridiculous price on the revolution 488’s and an Eaton e-locker for $1900 installed so I couldn’t pass it up but I I guess 513 would’ve been my choice, really falls off a cliff at 45 miles an hour when it goes into overdrive. I still turn it off though I did not anticipate having to do that after the regear. Q: Have you had any experience with the more budget friendly front fenders like offered by extreme terrain?

Hello there! Well the blue LJ has 5.13’s. I don’t turn off OD off anymore like I did with 3.73’s and 35’s. With the fenders, honestly no, before Motobilt I used to run Poison Spyder. Thank you for your comment!
Looks great! LCG has alot of benifits, having your control arm angles flat on its own weight is huge for rock crawling.
What rims are on the 37s are they 5x4.5?

Hello! They are AEV Salta wheels. 5x5 bolt pattern.
Yeah your blue Jeep is sweet what kind of winch you have the 4.0

Thanks so much! Yep, just a 300k 4.0 and the winch is a quadratec 8000.
if you want at least the factory amount of suspension travel, you are looking at a 4" lift for 33's. A rig with slightly more lift and more uptravel will be more stable than a lower jeep with less uptravel.

Thank you for your comment! Just my opinion, I’ve had great success with 35’s at that 3” mark.

Just run a shorter shock if you want more uptravel. I outboarded the rears and extended the fronts highlined on a 2" lift. Best of both worlds
What front bumper is on the lj?
