If i was director i would make like a scene in chaos theory where the kids are on a boat travelong to somewhere and then a deinosuchus comes out of nowhere and chases them. In the chase the spinosaurus suprise attacks the deino from the side and kills it with loss of an arm

I was gonna day the titanoboa but realized you're right. The bones would have been turned to mush from being crushed and digested.

First im not so sure that is the Dieno's skull, its missing the nostril holes on the end of its nose, and the snout isn't really bulbous enough. could be how they represent it as a adolescent/sub adult realistically something would have happened to it to cause it to be where it is, From the footage, it is nowhere near water that is deep enough to support it, The stream also doesn't appear to be rapid enough for fast erosion, and if it did happen seasonally, the area would have more weeds and other fast spreading plantation. Something likely forced it to move from its previous habitat, How far it is from a large body of water is unclear, however it does appear to be considerably further away from deep water than just normal basking behaviours its modern day relatives do. Best guess would have been during one of the severe storms the island is prone to (we know of this from the first film) There was likely flooding, making the area deep enough water for it to feel comfortable to go around. after the storm cleared and the water levels started to lower, it likely got caught in a tidepool type of situation, where it felt the water was deep enough and safe enough to stay in, but as the water dropped even further it would have to abandon it. where it was likely ambushed while traveling on land. I also doubt it was attacked by a large land based carnivore, as the bones aren't spread about, but rather packed close. and while the image isnt very clear, it doesnt look like the bones have any real damage. i doubt it would have been a large herbivore being territorial, since again no damage, doesnt look like the skull was broken, the spine is relatively intact from the angle. as stated it not large enough to be fully grown and that holds true regardless of crocodile like species.

My theory is anklosauros. One thing to note is alligator species are ambush predators meaning that what ever killed it had to survive an ambush attack from this thing. Meaning it had to be either really big or really tough. And in the skeleton I saw a big break near its back. My theory is an ankolosaurs went to drink from a body of water, the deinasucos ambushed it, the anklosauros survived because of its naturaly armored body and smacked it in the back with its tail killing it. The body was then picked apart by compies or other scavengers. Edit - I also think we can rule out a large carnivore because of how intact the Skelton was

I'm surprised you didn't suggest possible volcanic poisoning, Mount Sibo would probably have had some limnic eruptions which are not explosive or hot but basically a large amount of carbon dioxide escapes from the mountain and because it's a heavy gas it would stay near to the ground and suffocate anything that couldn't get away in time. Animals like Brachiosaurus with their heads way above the ground would have been relatively safe from the gas but a Deinosuchus is cumbersome on land and likely wouldn't be able to outrun the invisible gas cloud, it depends on which way the wind blew the cloud. So the creature suffocates and it's carcass is picked over by the many carnivores of the island, probably mostly by the Compsognathus. Also, do you say skellington instead of skeleton?

In the Jurassic Park Builders I had max level and star T-Rex, Titanoboa, and Mosasaurus. Fun fact: I randomly got 5,000 cash and UNLIMITED mystery packs as a bug. Eventually, the game greeted me with a message saying "This game is closing, thanks for playing!" And that was the last I saw of JP Builders.

OK, he forgot to mention one thing they actually had one in Jurassic Park to if you look at the toy line of Jurassic Park Junior, you can find a green dienosucus

I dont think it died. Maybe thats not the 'actual' one. There could be a possibility of it surviving somehow, especially since its a semi aquatic aswell, Imagine people start spotting an unusually large crocodile on the ocean waters, could be possible since we've seen saltwater crocs do it alot.

I think it was killed by the mosa. It probably tried to escape the park and got eaten my her or it swam in land when the islands volcano was erupting then a couple years later bio sin put it in there park in my head canon it lives in bio sins park

What about the Troodon from the Telltale game? Their whole spiel was biting a larger target and waiting for it to get paralyzed to eat or use as nesting material. A flock of those things could feed off of that big gator for a while, and raise who knows how many hatchlings in that one corpse. Theoretically, the JP Troodon method would leave the skeleton intact.

I think the most boring but also the most realistic reason why the deinosuchus died is because it contracted a sickness. Jurassic Park 1 already established that even in a well managed park dinosaurs get sick and and this can be lethal to them. So take a genetically modified animal who is cared for by dozens of paleoveterinarians daily and put it into a wilderness where it has to deal with a bunch of other creatures for the first time in it's life possibly getting exposed to new diseases. The DPG website also lists diseases dinosaurs can contract and everyone who has played JWE or JWE2 knows how fast illnesses spread among dinosaurs and how heavily they can be affected by them (although this is only soft canon)

The sad truth is that most of the carnivores on isla nublar did die from lack of knowledge on how to hunt . The reason why not all of them died off is because the other carnivores would eat the ones that already died off or like blue and the rex had some experience in hunting. The rex was on isla nublar was on the island for idk how long able to hunt the other dinosaurs and learned from the goats it was being fed and knew it couldnt make much noise if it wanted tl catch the goat off guard. Flr blue owen trained the raptors using a pig. Might of done similar things to other dinosaurs too.

I'm personally a bit skeptical about the Dilophosaurus theory. Now, if his theory about troodons being in the restricted section is accurate, I could see them pack hunting a larger dino that wasn't fully matured

Maybe behind all this, InGen is quietly creating larger species and more horrible.Something that cannot be imagined by humans all this time,a nightmare or a monster

It looks like the scorpionrex did it. The skeleton you show by the river looks like the ribs and backbone were separated. Like something stomped on it.

honestly i think it was actuslly the dilophosaurus, why you may ask? the scorpious rex hangs most of their prey, but still if it got released then obviously it could have been the scorpious rex but the dilophosaurus could have just used the venom like he said to wipe him/her out

I imagine the skeleton in the jungle belonged to a young Deinosuchus who was trying to reach a new lake. Its original habitat was affected by the volcanic gasses.The water turning acidic and killing its prey. The map shows a great lake right under Mt. Sibo. The animal went on a (desperate) journey from there to reach new water, but died of exhaustion or being an easy prey to something else.

I have one more theroy. The deinosuchus could have got a fight with a carnivore bigger than it like a different t-Rex we haven’t seen on screen but I guess it could’ve been a unknown ingen t-Rex but it’s highly unlikely because deinosuchus is stronger than t-Rex so they probably both died in the fight.

The skeleton is at a super shallow spot.... it's water advantage likely wouldn't come into affect. A Pack of animals could've harassed it until it was exhausted then kill it. Far more likely tbh

The prehistoric crocs rib cage looks weird if it was a plant eater that I accidentally stepped on it. It wouldn’t be split into three and the rib cage separating the spinal cord to cause a split like that would be some kind of plater that has the instinct to kill it like that, so it’s kind of suspicious eater or meteor either way when did you think might need to re-check with the plant heaters to see which ones stomping feet’s Mind of that Dino gator to have quite the messy predicament to have the spinal cord separated from two sides of the rib cage like that

My belief is that the croc most likely died while still in the restricted section! Whatever killed this giant monster was definitely a lot stronger than this creature! I think (based of your restricted section videos) that there was a pack of delophosaurs, or it was the Scorpius Rex of screen of camp cretatous. More likely dilophosaurus pack.

Or it could’ve got killed and it’s carcass was left there but there is a chance the mosasaurus had a brawl with it.

I'd like a live action show that explains all these theories and clears things up. Many times in the movies we hear characters say things like "who knows what Ingen was cooking up", as well as Sorna being the "breeding center" and then transporting them to Nublar (Hammond Lost world). A show that would explore "behind the scenes" of what went down at Jurassic Park and World before the big hurricane and all the buildings rundown.

I didn't like jwfk and forgot most details about it but didn't they take down a t-rex and manage to bring it to the Lockwood manor? Wouldn't like 5-8 people come to the deinosuchus but not be able to capture it and instead accidentally killing it using their tasers or guns they had?

Personally, I don’t think the Dilophosaurus pack would be brave enough to confront that massive croc boi. So I think one of the Scorpius Rex’s poisoned it and it slowly rotted. One out there theory (more of a thought) was that a spinosaurus in the restricted section did it because it died right by the water, but I don’t think that’s true.

Didn't you have a theory about Troodon being in the park? Maybe it was a pack of Troodon? They would be small and scavenger enough to have picked the bones clean like that and also cause minimal damage to the skeleton. I feel like a pack of them could take down a Dienosuchus that wasn't fully grown.

I wish that Deinosuchus would’ve appeared in Jurassic World Dominion, given the amount of times it’s been referenced in the Jurassic franchise, I hope it’ll appear in the next Jurassic movie.

My guess would be it was just not a good enough biome for it or not enough prey in the area for it to get around and it’s size made it too difficult to navigate through the woods to find prey and then died.

Hey shadows I’m making a jwe2 lost world herd dinos and I think it could be cannon bc there is the worker village aviary trex nest (with buck doe and junior) poacher camp and the valley that we see in the lost world where they were catching them dinos

A pack of dilo’s would not be able to work together to take down a 40 foot croc,the scorpios Rex perhaps but I think it was the spino. The spino was ultra aggressive.

It was most likely chilling in the restricted zone got loose then found it's way into the jurassic Park / world sewer system and snackes on any people or dinos that went down there and it alongside many things on that island are probably dead but it would be really awesome to see a proper croc scene just a burst out the water scene

Or it could have died from natural causes like disease or old age. Remember these creatures are partial genetic replications with lots of other animals filling in the blanks for the missing genomes so it's quite possible that they'd have a shorter lifespan or a host of other medical problems as we know from current technology in that field.

Couldve been because of the lysine deficiency that killed it remember the JP Game? They confirmed that the dinosaurs had a gene that didn't produce lysine so it could have died due to lack of lysine.

Not enough food, & possibly got injured (being it was still young, or while it was younger)! Consider it as a multiple things that ultimately caused its eventual death! I'd bet it might have had a leg get injured (maybe 2), so it couldn't run or charge fast enough to catch prey upon the banks of its watery location where it lived! Maybe a bigger predator forced it away from it's hunting grounds, & it starved to death! On that very river where we see its remains! Maybe both! It's my belief that the bigger predator was possibly eating all the prey, leaving nothing for it to hunt! Which is why it was forced to relocate to find food, regardless of any possibility of injuries that may have hindered its ability to hunt! Especially considering its size as shown in the movie (size of its remains)! These are the only possible conclusions that make any real sense of how it died, & ended up there! The only thing that can be still debated is if it really died of starvation, or something helped it expire! But, as you've said, not much can be known from the position of the skeleton, & what we can't see in the movie!

Wait a sec this will make sense the sarchosuchus had a fight and the sarcosuchus corpse got ripped apart.

I think that the Deinosuchus got ingured by one of the indominus Rexes (The one that didnt make it) and got ingured and when weak was outnumbered and picked clean by Compsognathus 🤷

i dont think it was scorpius because I-rex wasnt made when deinosuchus was alive because it died and rhen indoraptor and then scorpius and the dilos would have that acid, which would burn the bones it could have died to wounds from fighting a herbi or blood loss from something like a stegosaurus

Trodoon a pack of trodoon’s they are small highly venomous and super fast, if they caught one of the trail and loaded it up with venom it would die. And before you say size difference, do i need to remind you what happend to dieter and the compy’s in jp2?
